GT 435M has 96 cores compare to GT 520M only has 48. That is a huge difference. 435 is DEFINITELY better.

Even GT330M/GT335M also better than GT520M

quite confusing now whether should i buy laptop with GT540 not~ =S any other suggestion for asus, below 4k?

540 normal card.. better buy desktop lo.. below 4k can get gtx card!

ok a question. so if basically gt525m, gt540m and gt550m is basically same card with different speed,
why would compare those, i mean ppl say

o'c gt540m can get closed to gt550m

but then can o'c gt550m to another level where even o'c gt540m cant even reach.

or is it wrong? different gpu got different overclocking capability?

it means, if the community at curtin is anything like my uni , thr will be tons of sharing , movies, games, MVsssss, yeah. LAN network heaven. 

my fren eac sem fill one hard disk, eac 1Tera.zzzzz current one 2Tera and goin full.zzzzzz,  he can start a server farm liau.

sumore filtering x16 still get so nice score.. did u OC? my score & fps lower than urs a lot.. with all high & shadow all low & filtering off & extra effect off get around 60++ fps my temp highest for CPU is 80 & GPU is 69

98 FPS is damn good score for non-OC spec!

here is my stock clock (550/800) score (non-OC) for that configuration: 74.6 FPS 

based on what we discussed last week, i suspect this game is heavy CPU-bound. highest shadow setting put further stress on the CPU. i tested this theory by OC CPU only to 3ghz (from 2.8ghz), i got 79.6 FPS. (3 FPS is actually quite significant, IMHO)  may be this your Quad core CPU really help a lot in this case. That also could explain your high score in Intel graphic.

It also could mean nVidia 540m is really good in high end settings.

Now, the interesting question is how much score can system with 540m / 550m achieve in OC?!

this game doesn't consider GPU.. wilson got quad so his fps better.. is nothing to said.. really depend more on CPU than GPU..
wilson can do a test again? go document there change the config.ini files & set all EXTREME & RENDERINGTHREAD = ON & JobThread=4 & FPS=ON
