soosososossosos.... what is the moral of the story? what should i or we do?

if it is louder after servicing, and it sounds like ah beng car, means they didnt put back the airfilter properly.

mine had the same problem and was rectified.

there are 2 locks, the above metal clips and below, you have to interlock both airfilter casing.

it is quite difficult and u might need to unplug a cable to the throttle body to ease the locking.

very common among lancers and inspira, according to a lancer owner. smile.gif

no photo la bro..it is the lower part that must be locked. from above may look normal.

u just pop ur hood and look at the allignment of the airfilter casing and the airfilter itself

the air filter casing is not properly fit(not properly locked at the bottom)

u can see that the front and the back of the air filter doesnt seem to allign properly

i maybe wrong, but mine was like this last time as well. dont worry, i even drove with 'open pod' filter all the way to kota bharu from ipoh

kekeke... no charge at all...smile.gif thanks for telling bro..

no prob. if have problem locking the bottom, just unplug the cable as shown in the photo. it will make life much easier to lock the bottom, then put in the filter and plug back the cable

i found out that my chrome thingy at the door one is spoil...
either is doing the CF sticker or people stick the tinted film and make it rosak.... they will open our door and stick to the glass, i believe there is no car that is original come with tinted film.. all is stick by the tint film company outside. the chrome thing cannot screw tide already... sad.gif regret on it.. now dunno who mess up with my chrome screw now... too many people open my door.  my friend say.. the showroom car's door if we knock knock it, we will few very good and tide... after we get the car, we will feel the door is not so"tide" coz its being open and stick the tinted film there... this is sad la!!
*
most prob is the CF sticker thing la..to make tinted film dont have to open the chrome door moulding

ya lo.. now already rosak... shorty there nothing can be done liao... haizzz...
i regret already!! PAY and get ROSAK on the chrome stripe...
*
check if it is properly alligned or not. or the CF sticker block the screw groove?

dont worry la...as long as can screw it in then can already.

the clips will hold it tightly.

mine open like 6 times just solve the whistling problem and now still can tighten.

the screw when screw out seem like got GUM like that.. it is the CF sticker gum? hmmmmmm

i hate i pay yet get worst on  the CAR one..

actually it is very easy to remove the door moulding and install it againt.

lift it up,and once it is slightly up, pull it outwards then will come off.

u can try to press the door moulding from the front till the back, im afraid they did not press the clips into place.

ignore the double sticker there. smile.gif
