Btw, anyone got take back the extra engine oil during service? I forgot to ask mine during 1st service.

400ml? I thought our car use only 4.2l? Should left 800ml? Or the 400ml goes somehwere for flushing??

Anyway, my thoughts (assume use 4.6l each time)
1) Service 1 - collect 400ml
2) Service 2 - Use the Service 1 400ml + 4L + 200ml from new 1L (left 800ml)
3) Service 3 - Use the Service 2 600ml + 4L...save money on new 1L(in this case, ask them to give u the 1L bottle, since free maintenance), still got 200ml left.
4) Service 4 - Use 200ml left from Service 2 + 4L + 400l from new 1L (left 600ml)...
5) you count lar...

Can???

btw, how do you check how much alreay pour in? Just use oil dipstick?

In due course, we noted the system responded more quickly if we downshifted when we wanted more speed, and so we did — all the time. Since we noticed the engine reached redline quicker in Manual mode (at 45 mph instead of 75 mph in "Drive"), we left it there until the top of 1st gear, then switched over to Drive to complete the rest of the quarter-mile, cutting a second from our time in Drive-only mode.

Hey guys, just did my 5k service, not at proton but outside workshop, i have changed:

Engine oil: Amsoil 0-30w Signature series, 5 Quart ( Slightly less than 5litres but sufficient) Cost: RM210
Oil Filter: Bought from spare parts shop, the packaging is in Proton AMP form, which stands for Proton Aftermarket Parts. Cost: RM8

Total cost: RM210+ 8 + 10(labour) = RM228

After result:
Engine much more quiet
Smoother acceleration
Better fuel efficiency i guess

Been reading the Mitsu vs Proton AMP oil filter thingy and finding it amusing...

I was at one small but authorised SC doing oil change recently and they brought out Proton oil filters for Inspira. I then checked the dimensions of the Mitsu vs Proton filters, and they are the same in dimension and outlook, only diff if Mitsu filter is in black while Proton is blue...

I check with the SC Manager, and was told that its the latest Proton instructions to use Proton parts when the SC have exhausted their Mitsu filters, and why would Proton not wanna use their own branded filters?

So, you can ask for Mitsu oil filters when you change your oil, but you will prolly get Proton AMP filters from now on...

I just wasted RM50 for changing to mitsubishi oil filter, and i saw this

amp = rm8
mit = rm34

Proton genuine parts is just a sticker on the mitsubishi parts, while the AMP totally looks different..Nvm la, now i am assured that mine is from mitsubishi, fair enough..

I'm a potential Inspira buyer and there are few questions I would like to ask before making the reservation for an Inspira 2.0P.

Can someone briefly share their experience with the 2.0P on the FC with normal city driving ? Does it consume a lot more compared to Honda City / Vios?

What are the reasons that you guys chose this car instead of a Kia Forte 2.0?

The fact that my SA told me Inspira wait time is only 2 weeks kinda worries me because it seems like there is very little to no interest in car by the market.
