Anti rust is at the bottom, the missing black thingy is supposed to be the rubberized undercoat, to protect the bottom part from stone chips.... important? nice to have but is it another proton cost cutting measure? probably... and yes, there is such a thing as transparent anti rust liquids and coats... try Google...

anyway u guys fighting over the anti rust thingy....

its confirm by my SA, all new batch inspira doesnt come with anti rust anymore

so if no anti rust, why arent there any rusty inspiras on the road?

yes, there isnt the black thingy on the wheel arch like the earlier batches, but that IS NOT the anti rust.

if the black stuff is the anti rust, then all cars' undercarriage doesnt have anti rust. it is pretty stupid thing to do by all car makers isnt it? and mine is the earlier batches....chassis number 1096

the anti rust coat is there, just not the blackish stuff

in the photo below, the exhaust metal thing does not have anti rust. and it is rusty already. any part that have the coat is anywhere as close compared to the rusty part?

hopefully this rubbish about no anti rust is answered

aiyoo, go see the 07 lancer n compare, they dun even have any rubbery coating anti rust, and i've not seen any rust on it and so does the SC mechanics .

bro dun trust ur sa.... even my sa also not sure when i ask him. call icare for the confirmation. i called icare regarding this issue b4, there is antirust, juz do not have the black coating. i even go n touch another inspira which is earlier batch, the feeling is exactly the same, but the earlier batches make my hand dirty... ><
