i will reset after 3 year... this is for sure.. now still under warranty ma..

yes... totally louder after service... it is the engine oil is different from factory??

i started bringing my own oil to proton sc now...they accept it....jsut have to use their filter

using eneos 10w40.....much much better perf than the syntium 800 and even 1000...i tried both!

hahahaaa.. not my car la.. other people one... they top overhaul it then become better wor...

i go to proton SC... they put all 4L and use 1L top up... the extra... he give me lo.. hehehehe

As bro ckk125 said... your filter box NOT fitted properly.... your car will sound like turbo (or lion roar) above 2K RPM... use your hands to "shake" both sides... u will discover the bottom is loose... a properly fitted box will not have two parts loose...

The mech did not clip and properly fasten the BOTTOM... its a pain to align and lock the bottom... most will only lock the top and due to the gap at the bottom... ur engine sucks unfiltered air from the bottom into the engine... PLS RECTIFY IT IMMEDIATELY...

You can DIY, remove the two top clips... then take out the filter (remember the direction of the filter)... then use both hands to align the left side to hook to the right side... once hooked properly, it will stay... then carefully insert the filter, making sure it doesnt dislodge the bottom again... and finally lock the top...

No need pics... just unlock and u will see how to lock it back... esp the bottom...!! U cant see the bottom without taking off the top....

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING AND REPLACING THAT...!!!

That;s your O2 sensor, and if you screw it up, your engine will loose power and you need to replace the part....!!

last few days , proton told me tat a few of inspira's steering hose got some problem, but they will find for u if your chassis number in their list..

but i still very sad ler.. my car rear left suspension got knocking sound, they hav claim the rear absober and stabilizer link , but the sound still there,they cant find out where is the sound from... so i went to another SC, they said try to claim the absorber again.. wtf..

Come to tt and we'll try diagnose where the sound coming from...  sometimes we more expert than the half past six mechanics at proton. We manage to find sothy's tak tak sound from the rear...

spark plug only needto change every 100k km...4b11 uses iridium plugs

theres no exact measurement of fc for each car la.. n it depends on your way of driving.. heavy stepping then fc kaw.. if not then just switch to hybrid only lor.. and i wonder when our proton gonna come out with hybrid model.. probably they r waiting for mitsu to do so then they can take that model over and change name only.. easier that way rite..?    no need r&d liao..
