Put in passanger's seat and fan the SKIRT of your female passenger. Remember to put a sign "SKIRT ONLY" on your passenger's door.

Good joke, got ppl believing it...

If not mistaken is ATF cooler with dedicated fan. To avoid getting that dreaded "Slow Down" message for CVT...

Regarding Tenno complain about PPS

Difference between PPS teflon sealant & Waxes
Hi, you guys out there, I am Tan from Shine N Shield the sole distributor for PPS Teflon paint protection system (USA) in Malaysia.

I am compelled to post this explanation and clarification after coming to know of Tenno’s comments regarding the PPS Teflon sealant. Firstly, I wish to explain the difference between PPS Teflon sealant and waxes. When you apply PPS Teflon sealant over your car paint surface the Teflon properties will fuse and borne into the paint and will remain there for many years to come to completely seal off the contaminants, harmful chemicals/acids and UV from penetrating into the paint which will eventually damage the paint quality. So whatever contaminants that come in contact with the paint surface will deposit on top of this PPS sealant instead of penetrating into the paint. That is why when the rain drops dried up you will see water marks and will be more prominent if the paint surface is very clean, shiny, and if the paint is darker shade in colour especially so for a solid black coloured car. When this happened it actually proves that the PPS sealant is working by preventing the acids from the rain, tree saps and bird droppings and etc entering into the paint. This surface contaminants can easily be gotten rid of if you wipe dry or wash your car soon after the rains with some PH balanced car shampoo. If you leave them on for too long you may need to use some stronger contaminants cleaners. Though looks more cumbersome but most importantly, your car paint is protected from all the harmful contaminants attack. For this reason we have been advising our PPS customers to return for the follow up contaminants cleaning after a few months on the road and our warranty is only to cover against oxidation, fading of colour and loss of shine. In the case if your car paint is merely waxed, you will not see as much of the water marks simply because wax cannot completely seal off the acids and contaminants from the rain and the environment. They have penetrated and disappeared into the wax and paint before the water dries up. Hence, they can still cause damage to the paint. Waxes will also tend to cover up micro scratches, holograms or swirl marks well but will eventually re-appear when the waxes wear off after a few washes especially if you use a lesser quality one and that is when your paint is opened to more environmental attacks unless you re-wax it after every 2 – 3 months or 8 – 10 washes. Even then waxes will still not provide complete protection as the PPS Teflon sealant does. Applying waxes are merely adding oil to the paint surface to keep it moist and prevent it from drying up and become chalky, to make it smoother and give it the glossiness for a short duration only.

The above water marks scenario is similar to putting a drop of water over a glazed tile and an unglazed tile. When the water dried up you will see water mark on the glazed tile but you will not see it on the unglazed tile. This is because the contaminants in the water are prevented from entering the glazed tile which has a layer of hard protective transparent coating whereas it has been absorbed into the unglazed tile.

For those who still wish to have the effect and feel of a wax but at the same time also wants to give complete protection to his car paint, he can opt to apply PPS Teflon sealant over it and after which top it up with a layer of wax again.

Lastly, whatever and however good may be the paint protection system you are using on your car paint nothing is actually maintenance free and you will still need to give your car some degree of care and maintenance to keep it in tip top condition.

Dear Tenno, I hope my above explanation and clarification will help to clear any misunderstanding or any wrong perception about PPS Teflon sealant. Whatever it may be, rest be assured that your money is well spent on PPS as you have indeed chosen the best paint protection system to protect your car paint for many years to come.

Looks like PPS and SG has been miscontrued as an easy way out from washing cars more often and hoping dirt slides off the paint easier instead of accumulating them. It is a car detailing product for discerning owners who wants to keep their paint in showroom condition.

These paint protection will have to be cared for just as often in order to keep the protective layer in good condition. Those without just need to ensure they wash it just as often to keep the paint layer clean. Then again of course the unprotected paint will be exposed and suffer from wear and tear, thus losing its showroom shiny condition...

So it is important that the owners know what they are getting into instead of feeling short chaged later esp the watermark syndrome...

Repeat, this is not a product of convenience of not having to wash car often. In fact could be more often tongue.gif

Like that no need to do liao...waste money only. Just send to regular wax/polish every year. And just wax it yourself every month or so. Why so susah and then pay money if it doesn't solve the problem?
