well... I shouldn't reply because we are in edifier thread.

but I gotta say the 'old' altec lansing is good but the new one is really poor.

sonic gear is just trash. no need to even look at it because in 2 days the speaker will self destruct

Alright, already got my Edifier M3400 smile.gif First impressions are that they are very clear! So far about 1 hours use and I generally feel that they are more suited to clean music. Definitely perform and sound much better when listening to acoustic and jazz etc compared to metal/rock.

Also still experimenting with the bass levels on the sub.

M3300 sounds brighter while M3400 much warmer.
Do audit before you buy. biggrin.gif

Edifier M1350
After searching around, I found this speaker is rather impressive frequency response!

in terms of clarity, should be much better

but in terms of bass, it is equal

ya so overall like the person reply you, he is right

thats why if you prefer bass over clarity, you should buy M3400 instead and save rm40-60

oh ya, just dont take m3300, take m3300SF instead

its good if you do not blast the maximum out of it

but again, what's the point of buying a powerful speaker without blasting it?

I managed to get 1 on 1 exchange from dealer and the faulty unit will send back for RMA.
Great job on customer service from dealer, Inter-Asia and Edifier.
Tested the speaker for a day, so far so good. smile.gif
Keep up the good job. Will continue support Edifier.

so far there's nothing wrong with these two speakers.

I compare quality by looking at test units at shop and so far these two can go through serious wear and tear and still sound good.

only the M1370... the very first time I hear lotsa problem from you

Finally itchy hand to get an Edifier R2500 for RM375 rclxm9.gif
Should be quite busy nowadays, and still running in the speakers.

Will report the results after that.

I also tired with this problem. Now, under negotiations to upgrade to other model instead of RMA because I am totally lost confidence on this model. ( 2 weeks using 2 brand new edifier M1370, same issue happen) rclxub.gif
Some more, the dealer now telling me that their technical people can't reproduce the problem as I stated. sweat.gif
So, I attached a video link here just to share the issue I am facing even with the brand new replacement set

Bro,

Do you connect it to another source like MP3, handphone and etc? Please help me to try it and pm me the outcome whether still got the noise?
Beside that, may i know where you bought the speaker from? I will check with the dealer why they can't reproduce the problem you encounter.
Beside that, we will report this issue to factory and get them to do a investigation.
Anyway, sorry for the inconvenience cause .
