Yeahh... its a addon features.. its not design to take photo too

..just bought an ipad2. This is my first ipad and I didnt realize the camera is not on par with other tablets..danggg one of my intention is using the camera-ipad combo as taking pics and storage..haihhh to bad..other functions are great!

Put the camera quality aside, look at other strengths of the iPad, even the wide range of apps are pretty much good enough.

ip4 camera looks very good in the phone

then too bad u dint do enough research lol. when apple dint put any MP on it's rear camera, u shud know that it's clearly sux hence they did not put it lol

IMO, only the 3GS and 4 have good quality cameras. The Streak, Xoom and even Playbook have so-so quality cameras only. My Venue also have subpar camera... full of artifacts despite having 8MP.

So, what's next? Buy a REAL camera... trying to find one with built-in Wifi or Bluetooth for complete wireless transfer.

agree, get a real camera, then sent into ur ipad/iphone and then can complain 16gb not enuf LOL (which is what i face ... sorta)

Yup..my bad. Anyway, am using it primarily for reading pdf files, news and also surfing which ipad excels..

The current 0.7MP camera is even worse than those el-cheapo RM 20 webcam sold at LYP.

I even saw some guy using galaxy 7' to take picture in motorshow. He focus on the model from down up and everybody from behind saw what he taken. Laugh like hell.

A good camera will help a lot... for example, I'm using JotNot on my 3GS to capture docs - cheques, receipts and some sensitive docs to store on the phone before uploading to Dropbox as backup. With crappy camera, the final image will either is blur or simply useless for archiving purposes.

iphone4 is as amazing as ipad2 too.

considering that I even need to queue up for 1 hour at 25th december 2010 at KLCC for my iphone4, which is like what? almost 4 months after it's launch?

besides, most maxis and digi center i went also need to wait up for 1 month for iphone4 at around november last year

I don't think it is weird... I was using a 5" Dell Streak to snap photos during the Motor Show as well... the extra space allow touch to focus functionality.

They probably assume u going to use PhotoBooth for life... IMO, useless app anyway even on a MBP.

Well it is not that bad if you taking a wide angle view photo... Tried taking surrounding photos from my car after getting the ipad, the pics still okay. I am not expecting very high resolution, just a decent photo will do..

I m not sure for those who don't like take picture.

I love photgraphy and I don't let this device to ruin my quality moment. A thousand time better to use a camera to shot those sexy model and nice car. But ruin by this suck camera tablet/pad?

I just do that last saturday. The whole pad block my view while I focus. I can't compare it to actual view. I rather use the camera.

So, any real camera with good zoom function and wireless connectivity to compliment the iPad2?
