Is it only my device or the ipad2 camera really sucks....

It is already well established that iPad 2 camera does sucks.

yea man, ultra pixelated. did you notice the graphics is like forever zooming in even though your not zooming

my teenage sis tried the ipad2 in harvey normans yesterday and first comment... "Camera sucks"..

I saw at the apple site..the facetime really2 gud...but when i tried it yesterday... "quite sucks!" lol. Mybe our intrnet cnnection?

Dun understand why the camera is lousy but the video recording is HD ... someone explain?

the selling point of ipad 2 is not the camera,its either the processor or the slim design.or maybe,just to show off eventhough you already have ipad 1.

Camera is like bonus feature for it , actually they are more on the 720p camera recording since it's a camera they give u the ability to take photo.

Anyway, as some have pointed out, the iPad's camera is NOT its selling point... its just like apple saying: "Hey, we made a new iPad... and added a camera... but its not great, but its revolutionary".

The screen is enlarger, as in back camera 0.7MP if not mistaken.

As u can see the big noise and broken pixel.

What is there to complain lar? You're buying an iPad not an iCamera..

If you want a better camera, get a galaxy tab instead. iPad's point is not on the camera. And no one would carry such a big iPad just to snap a thing, except you really need it. The camera functions for that and Facetime I guess.

If you want good camera on tablet, get motorola xoom, the camera quality is comparable with iPhone 4.

But then when play movies like shittt, not support HD content.

the screen resolution is 1024x768 with vga camera, what you expect? the hd is when recording it has around 30fps.. that is why it is called hd, 30 frame per second..

I think iPad camera is not suitable for serious shooting. Even iPhone4 camera is not quite up to standard for some instant.
