Also looking at these 2 models... the shure e2c and sony ex71. What are the price ranges of this two? Possibly I will go shopping off Low Yat KL, are they available there?
I heard these two have good bass response, as I am a basshead... Are there anything else that can be recommended for something below the price range of RM300? ALso, are Koss products good? This post has been edited by wlcling: Jan 19 2006, 12:06 PM |

I am now using the Philips HN060 bought for RM150, and maybe its just me, but the bass doesnt seem to cut it... well somehow I'm not associating Philips products with the ability to provide me with a good bass earphone.... Also the build has been terrible, my first set had a few loose connections inside that caused one earphone to be non-functioning at times, after changed for a new set, it worked fine until after sometime, the below happened (wire came out of the cloth)
![]() Recently I lost the isolation buds like shown below.... ![]() (does anyone know where replacements can be found?) Lastly, are all ear-buds generally bad in providing bass? This post has been edited by wlcling: Jan 19 2006, 04:21 PM |

QUOTE(DAViS @ Feb 6 2006, 08:57 AM) Once the bass is real deep it's already colourising the original music source. Simple word, unnatural. Well, as quoted from a website:-Presumably, the KOSS HQ1 Vibration Stereophone is devised more for loud action games and movies rather than for fastidious appreciation of orchestrated symphony pieces where the vibration element would hardly be utilized and neither would it suit such music genre. Yup, it has vibration... lol |

How about a philips hn060? New unit costs RM150, but you can have my old one for RM50... but really... the earbud is missing (just the silly plastic part)... lol. That part is just needed to hold the earbud in your ear thats all...
