You have to burn the she9500 for awhile then only the bass and treble starts to kick in. If still not statisfy, you are better of lloking for other in-ear headphones. The clarity is not that great and the midrange of this earphone is so-so only. The only factor is the price... the cheapest in-ear i think. Check this out, Something that might interest you guys

Can anyone recommend me good earphones below rm100? Preferably those earbuds types.
Before that, some of the ear/headphones i've tried : philips she9500 - sometimes sounds good, sometimes sounds really bad senn mx400 - I like the way it sounds, but spoiled already and want to look for better ones koss ksc-75 - nice treble and bass. But at times it pokes my ears. The design also quite ugly, dun dare to bring it outside others are some sony and aiwa earphones that comes with walkman and discman; doesn't sound so nice with my mp3 player. how about the mdr-e888? heard people say this thing so great.... can anyone give thier comments? |

QUOTE(ellimist @ Oct 26 2006, 08:07 PM) Some forumer here who has both says the ck7 is better.Unfortunately I can't remember the forumer's nick ep630 is the in-ear types right? I prefer those earbuds. Dowan people borrow them end-up with ear wax Maybe if u walk round lowyat u might be able to find a creative ep630 for under 100 bucks.Make sure it's genuine though. How much does the 888 cost? I thought it was above 100? Anyways, any ideas where to get 888? I saw in singapore selling them for like SGD65 izzit cheap? |

I have both of them though... and a hp890.
In terms of comfortable, HP805>KSC75 Sound quality: KSC75> HP805 But sometimes the hp805 would sounds nicer and the ksc-75 would be a bit too bright |

QUOTE(nelson_hew @ Nov 26 2006, 11:46 PM) hmm seems like koss ksc 75 is the best choice, im very tempted to buy....i have read some reviews and it certainly looks pretty good to me. However, arent there any "In-earbuds" that has same good sound quality like KSC-75? im looking for a in-earbud phone which has noise canceling and good sound quality. With your budget, there's no way you can get noise cancelling with good sound quality. The problem with ksc75 is:CX300 dont sound very tempting to me, well my budget is around rm100, pls advice..thanks 1. clip-ons (not a problem for all but maybe a bit bother for me) 2. sound leak badly 3. and there is no isolation at all btw, you shouldn't be complaining much with that budget QUOTE wanna ask altec lansing got in-ear earphone? around how much? sound quality good? in-ear is the ones that goes deep inside right? the one that ppl are talking bout in this forum is the im716 and is said to be good. You can get them in singapore for RM350-380. And is retailed at USD150 if i'm not mistaken. |

QUOTE(FiSHjIGN @ Dec 14 2006, 05:31 PM) I'd like someone to recommend me a good pair of headphones that can really utilise the power of the X-Fi XtremeMusic, if possible. Thanks! Budget.. Not sure if willing to spend a LOT for a pair of headphones, but if it's necessary then i will. Try ksc-75 they sound pretty good for rm70. Probably the best if less than rm100. These are clip-ons though. or can try hp805 or the SHP2700 for rm80. hp805 not bad shp2700 haven't tried yet but should probably sound the same. Btw, stating how much is your budget helps .. |

QUOTE(FiSHjIGN @ Dec 16 2006, 10:32 AM) KSC-75? Heard of them being really good for value. The problem is i live in Johor Baru (taman pelangi area) and have no idea where to get them, besides Singapore, where they cost S$49 (which converts to roughly RM115 - sounds like a huge scam, but I can't find them any where else), so I was wondering if there were any alternatives that are around the RM120 price range, or maybe more. getiing them from bulk orders would be good. I'd get the KSC-75 if it were available here though... :S |

QUOTE(Aquanox28 @ Jan 20 2007, 11:10 PM) I see. Thanks for the comments. If both amped? I'm using cmoy only. If i'm not mistaken, the ksc-75 sounds a little bit like grado, more solid sounding however, depends on your source, amping them could make them sound like volume booster. The hp895 picks a little bit more detail and better sound stage as well. It sounded better with amp but not to the point where it is whole different headphone if you know what i mean Btw, still need some comments on the sound quality produced by both SHP895 and also SHP8900. Personally i like the ksc-75 unamped though. It feels more air my ears and it sounded like speakers at times about hp895 and 8900 if they are using the same drivers they should sound more or less the same? Someone mind to clear things up? I suggest you to test them first before getting them though |

QUOTE(lAh0S @ Jan 21 2007, 12:57 PM) So if KSC75 vs SHP895, which one is better? (both amped and un-amped) Hm...unamped I'd say the ksc75 sound nicer to my ears. Don't compare the price, now i wanted to compare the quality only. Off topic: Yeah 500th spam! Er... i mean 500th post! if amped hm...have to compare again. Its been awhile since i used my hp890(sold to pcwork) hp895 have some comfort issues You can try ask pcworks since he have 4 hp890 and 3 ksc75 |

Just got mine (t20) from goliath. I would say they are good enough unamped. I'm not sure how much this thing benefits from amp but IMO they sounded slightly different, probably the obvious thing is the bass sounded a little bit deeper and punchier.
Other than that, not much. I would use equalizer anytime to increase the bass response. It is too hasle for me to bring amp. It is more practical too I can only compare them with my she9500. I can say the she9500 offer more bass in terms of quantity. The mid more recessed compared to the t20, treble is lacking as well, more detail from the t2o as well. Do take note that I'm comparing them unamped. And for isolation, the t20 is more superior. For comfort, i think the philips is slightly better because the it doesn't go inside your ears too deep. The built quality for the t20 also feels much more better. The wire used are something like the earphones from sony psp earphone. So, to those who is planning to get the she9500, my advise is...dun get it This post has been edited by naruto_kun: Jan 25 2007, 11:49 PM |
