How to see improvement the headphone? Isn't can using direct to sound card or need amp (cmoy)?

The HP1000 has a noticably worse seperation and soundstage compared to a HD595
And the HD595 isnt really great in soundstaging

  there are only 2 kinds of iem sound signature in the market,

1) bassy with rolled off highs
2) clear with rolled off bass

There is only one IEM that I'd put my money into - er4. The im716 should be similar to the er4, and it's alot cheaper, that's why I've considered getting it.

i want to buy a headphone. budget around 150-200....
need heavy bass since my current headphone cant affort the heavy bass.

the sound of bass was broke when the music is playing a heavy bass.

Well he could try the portapro. It's pretty bass-heavy yet doesn't sacrifice a lot of things. Hehe. Budget headphones. And it's portable too. Just gotta get used to the retro look (for me, I actually like them-doesn't look like some lame Sony )

Using it as my backup headphones currently. Still like it. Though if you listen to a lot of insturmental and the likes, it'd be difficult to appreciate the portapro.

I don't think the 895 is portable enough for outdoor use (which is what I'm assuming JAYworm is using it for). Heck, even in ACed environment, it can get pretty warm wearing the 895.

The Altec Lansings are supposed to be by Etymotic actually, that's why they're good 
Initial rumors were that they're the exact same thing as the ER-4, but now its supposed to be a little inferior but pretty good
Plus it has a "bass mode" or something that u can switch for added bass, suitable for the mainstream market i guess

They don't make good iems, ety does. All Altec is good at making now is portable speaker to market those ipodtards.

The ksc75 will still sound tonally better than the er4/im716 (if it sounds like the er4), but still significantly brighter than the er4. I cannot recall if er6 is brighter or ksc75 is brighter on the extreme highs, but I know er6 is very irritating, the ksc75 could be as irritating as the er6 if it wasnt that the ksc75 has a better midrange and bass...IIRC, the er6 is like the ksc75...with even less bass, and a more colored mid.

The er4 is good, you can hear some details that are not easily heard on the 650, but...the mid range coloration on the er4 could be irritating if you are already used to the 650's tone. The er4's mid range will sound alot more upfront and clear compared to the 650 (which i think its midrange is very very laid back and tad harsh). The bass is a joke if you compare it to the 650 and that's the best ety could do for now.
