If I get the japanese version console, during the first time system initialized, will the default language be in Japanese or can I either select another language as my preference?

Default will naturally be default, of course. I can't remember changing the language of my JP 3DS, quite possibly from the lack of option which I can't remember, sorry

so far it's Japanese-only. not one really knows if this can be changed thru a firmware update though (i guess)

btw, if you can't get past the language elements in the system/menu level (which is pretty basic/logical/guessable)... how do you plan to play the JP region 3ds games which most likely will have much more complex language elements ?

I can speak Chinese but I can't read the character. That's my game plan. Besides there is always the subtitles. :-p

Planning to get a 3ds, but games like SD Gundam G Generations and Love + only japan version, what are the chances they have english version.

If I want to play them I need jp console?

Who..me..? Nothing..Just busy with some work because I already finished my internship and now will focusing more on Final Year Project..

Plus, I rarely play my 3DS because of its conditions...My circle pad rubber sudah tanggal already..and left naked....
My B button is almost unresponsive, probably because I played too much on Tekken...Mashing button punya pasal..

So, I mostly play my 360 and Vita only nowadays...I might wanna get new 3DS though...
Old one might be ready for selling cheap then..

Been a while since my last visit here as well as anything Nintendo related. Just found out a bigger version of 3DS and demos for Kingdom Hearts. The only response I give was 'Meh, another bigger version + matte finish.' Also where's the demo for FF Theatherythm? theathrhythm demo is for PAL 3ds system.... reggie didn't announced it on nintendo direct earlier on
