guys, i see a few pages in this thread someone tried to use Maybank cc to add fund into U.S. account for eShop but failed then got charged?
I face the same issue as well, my CIMB mastercard failed to load twice USD5 amount and i get the error message saying it cant load the fund but I checked my cc balance, it was deducted around RM30.

Anyone care to shed some light on this for me please?

Also, only Public bank cc works? wanna buy some games though...

I have suffered the same fate as you my friend, I was using my Maybank account to add some funds but failed twice, so they deducted from my account twice as well, usually within a week or so your money should come back, if not, you should call your bank about it, as for which bank works, I've have seen some work and some didn't, can't remember which though sorry, the safest way is to just buy some cash cards from Kyo

Yeah, gone through the same thing months back. Just remind+check on the bank n hope Ur transaction floats for a week n they'll reimburse Ur credit automatically.

After almost a few hundred bucks almost gone just like that I ended up buying E-shop point cards, a lil premium priced but at least it's safe. Weird thing is, why some succeed n some don't when using Malaysian issued CC'd?

1. Can you use Maybank2u debit to buy things from the Japanese eshop?
2. If no, then did anyone know where can i buy the Japanese Yen 3DS eshop Prepaid card?

2. Play-Asia should have it. Get the digital one.
