Can anyone help me out? I used my Maybank debit card to pay for the Brazil eshop, however there was an error every time I tried to make payment. Then I checked in my account and it shows this "PREAUTH SALE NINTENDO DIGITAL\\800-255 DATED 10/12/11". Will I be refunded since there was an error? I tried 4 times and it came out 4 times in the statement.

Strange that you got error even using Brazil eshop..
Rest assured you will be refunded... but will take 2 or 3 weeks

The only ones I tried are US and Brazil and so far... Brazil never fails me

Think it's the problem with some banks la (I went through all those errors on Maybank too, US or BRAZIL e-shop). For a Safe bet just buy an e-shop point card, From play-Asia or our fren kyo has em. A bit premium but at least no more errors

Its weird that Brazil has now begun giving problems. Its supposed to be fine really.

But in case if it doesn't work out, just let me know. I know RM 80 is asking too much, but trust me, its really community service as I don't get much out of this.

So its best I use brazil or US or UK? >< I wanna buy pushmo

Can anyone tell me how to check my nintwndo games region. My serial number star with cs and end with 1

3DS US model - serial number starts with CW (according to the official Nintendo support site)
3DS MY/SG/"asia" model - serial starts with CS

you can play US and MY/SG/"asia" 3DS games on your particular model. actually the MY/SG/"asia" 3DS games are US games but just marked for official distribution and sale to our region.


but i think it's easier to check which system software version your 3DS is currently running. in System Settings, at the top screen (bottom right) ... if u see a 'U' at the end of the version number (eg. 3.0.0-5U) it means you can run US region software.
