My first unit also had 2 dead pixels, had to look really hard only can see it. Initially thought it was dust, ended up with dead pixel

Oh well, just a tip Apple specification is more than 2 for iPad screen size... so if you can't get a warranty because of dead pixel, then complain through the light bleeding.

Quite sad that d screen bleeding issue is still there despite being a new set. May I know what serial number does your set's serial number starts with? Was it dqtf? How bad was d bleed?

I checked mine. Mo dead pixel.. But v minor screen bleeding..
Ll the screen bleeding affect anything?

Hi, I don't have any hard evidence yet but the unit with dqtf seems to be better. But I might not be right since I have not seen many units yet. however thanks for your reply and hope you can get a replacement you deserve. Please update us again.

Btw, do you think QCD @ berjaya time square will replace me a new unit?

Sorry. I don know. But you can try to call to ask. I guess they have one to one exchange policy for the first 7 days of purchase. (some might say 14 days)

Screen bleed usually won't affect viewing, so yours is minor even nothing to worry about.

So it has to be 2 or more or more than 2 (i.e. 3 or more). What about the iPhone? I have 2 dead pixels on my iPhone 4.

My iPad 2 was one of the first batch (bought it 10 days after the launch) and the screen bleeding is massive (even at 50% brightness, you can see the screen bleeding when I'm using splashtop remote to view movies from my iMac) and I also have the issue where there is a bulge around the home button and if press on the bulge, you'll hear a "ker_tap" sound as if the screen is separating from the body.

Will call Apple Malaysia once I land in KL on the 4th of August. Need to get warranty repair/replacement for the unit ... (hopefully they give me something not on 4.3.4 but I doubt it)

Got mine ipad 2 16g wifi today and no bleeding even at 100% brightness

i brought many unit of ipad2 every month from 29/4/2011 till now.

Screen Bleeding = not solve yet till now..unless those who lucky which either not serious or not effect at all.

Been sending 2units to claim...but sadly to say still same when back...only minor bleeding at side..

Hey fellas just want to check with you guys. If your iPad having those screen bleeding problems or manufacturer defects.

Apple will provide 1 to 1 exchange on a new set meaning (brand new sealed as factory packaging)
or
Just the iPad itself they replace? meaning (Use back your USB, charger and the old box)

I bought my ipad from apple online, I got it early june.

then i exchange 1 to 1 for the light bleeding, then exchange again for dead pixel, but only 1 dead pixel, they didnt even ask bout how many dead pixel i got when i file a case.

and again, another new ipad 2 arrive at my door step for me to unbox, and another 2 dead pixel found!!!..

so from pass 2 months, i been unbox total 4 ipad2 every 2 weeks... lol

and luckily the ipad im using now consider perfect...

so if can, order online!!!!

and remember, talk to apple CS ZURINA!!! she is very helpful than other CS!!!!

You received all your replacement sets all brand new sealed? Factory packaging?

A refurbished unit will be resealed again due to it's from apple store online

got it from mybytes tropicana city mall.

bought one yesterday at senheng IOI
no screen bleeding nor dead pixel !
