yes, the figures can be removed from the magnet base.

that is how i got my first Darth Maulminifig as it was impossible to get the minifig until now - with the new SW releases

great! all this while i tot it can't be removed so i go and buy the key chain instead. =.="

From what I heard, new Lego Magnets are hard to remove from their base.

gonna burn wallet once the Lego superheroes series out hahahahaha...at this rate, i don't have enough moo-lah resume my technic sets collection.
