Do consider the AKG Q350 from the Quincy Jones Signature Line.

Since you are using laptop, do suggest the combo of FiiO E7 USB/BAC amp + AKG K99 headphones.

Yes, you can go to the Tong Lee, the hifi shop at Low Yat Plaza and look for Jenny.  Tell her that David sent you.  Remember to bring your laptop along to test them out.  They do have the Shures and Grados as well.

Ermz..are u happens to be Mr.David? I've nvr visit tht shop before so I dont really knw how to tell dt person dt i were sent under ur name(if u re Mr David). blink.gif icon_question.gif And the Fiio E7 USB/BAC amp basically makes the sound clearer? Since the headphones itself is Rm349, how much is the Fiio E7 USB/BAC amp? icon_question.gif

Frequency response means almost nothing. It only shows what frequency the IEM/headphone can project, but doesn't tell you how it presents it. I have an IEM once that goes down to 15Hz, and guess what, I only get an average amount of bass(but the quality of bass is good).

The Omega V2 is quite known for its bass and decent clarity.

Brainwavz M2. I use Brainwavz M1 and rock genres sound quite good with these. The M2 is said to have bass that is a bit better than M1 and a mellower treble. Mids is its forte. It has a better strain relief as well compared tot he M1, and judging from the M1's build, I'd say it will be pretty solid.
