QUOTE(secondrate @ Aug 7 2011, 07:29 PM) U have to audition all and see which suit u most. Every person have different sonic preferences. I might love the sr60 rather than sr80, but urs might be different from me vise versa. So to ask other person than urself which to choose is not a wise decision.Spare ur time, go to jaben and try all of three and then u decide. |

Already went there today and tried them all. Quite close competition. Definitely either SR80i or MS1i now, wondering what is the difference to justify the extra in price.Spare ur time, go to jaben and try all of three and then u decide. I also tried Beyerdynamic DT231, Shure SRH440, a few Senns and Audio-Technicas. |

Hey guys. Right now i'm contemplating between Klipsch S4, AKG K340 and Atomic Floyd HiDefJax. What do you guys think? Feel free to suggest other models as well.
- My Rig: iPod nano 4th gen > Fiio E11 OR laptop > DAC > Fiio E11 - Type of usage: Completely music listening. - File format: mp3 and FLAC. - Music genre: A lot of alternative (like Radiohead, Incubus), rock (Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon), some Electro as well (Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Skrillex) - Budget: around rm500 is the most i'd go. - Headphone/ earphone type: IEM |

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Aug 8 2011, 06:54 PM) yosh, srh840 can be driven by ur incredible s (44ohm) but not at it fully potential, as this is a monitoring headphone, hence to get fully use of it you have to get an amp to make it more colored/warmer and into ur desired sound preferences. but if u are on budget, it is ok for now to use ur phone with srh840, next after ada extra money, get an amp with a good interconnects, u will loving it more. |

1) I am using a fujitsu th580, soundcard is not an option for me for now(expect to use a usb set tilll i get a decent desktop, that'll be in 2 more years? Thus i am willing to splurge)..
Usb seem to solve that problem due to onboard sound processor which trumps my realtek hi def.. 2) Music played are all varying, i would use 'em mainly for movies. Any good phones/sets that can let me hear stuff i havent realized were in music i am listening to now(the supposed things that separate good and average phones)? 3) My headphones need not be portable because i will only use it in my room. Laptop diff story =P 4) Circumaural, must be over the ears, closed back? Most importantly i really want sound insolation. 5) Mic is a plus(Just got into Allods), i could use a separate mic, i do not really mind.. 6) Price around RM300, at most RM350? I tried to list all i think would be useful..( bonus coming up =D ) Can help recommend a pair of headsets for me? Thanks in advance! |

Curious, how many of you here own non-iOS phones and tablets
Have you ever wished that you can get the inline mic and control of the AKG, Sennheiser, Audio Technica, Dre's Beats etc head/earphones to work with your device ![]() |

So i can do without the usb headphones? My standard issued realtek sound processor is sufficient? Or is it because i have to raise my budget to get a decent one?

Now looking for Bluetooth headset, decided to sway away from Solo HD.
Budget is 900 only. To be paired with SGS2 and Xperia Arc. Music genre: Pop, Hip hop, Trance, Rock and love anything bassy. |
