Hi all owners Himedia 600 series product.
I have one question before I buy 600a model.
Or lan speed in Himedia 600 is sufficient to play movies 1080p or m2ts over network ? I now is lan 1000mbit, but my router netgear dgn2000 has only 100mbit speed ethernet.
If performance lan is high ? to play hight bitrate movies full hd mkv and 35-45 Mbps ?
I hope you understood what i mean.
Thx
You are not on 1G network yet, cause missing the router. I'm on 1G network (1G lan, cat6 cable and 1G router), but HD600A can't run on 1G network yet even though the hardware is ready to. I get 45 to 90+MBps streaming movie from my PC, before my router upgrade I get 23 to 53+MBps which is sufficient. Running 1080p movies (tried 14 to 26GB file) is not a problem, unless it's one of those odd movies that have problem (even on other players). Wifi is the only thing I'm not really happy with HD600A, but I rarely use that.I have one question before I buy 600a model.

@numbertwo, my sony nx710 3D LED TV also needs a hardware to upgrade the firmware^^; Even electronics giant aren't setting the firmware upgarde standard yet^^;
Try to use the "forced" upgrade (meaning reset button) when upgrading HD600A, it's often recommended. Reason is these are internal distributed official firmware (meaning it's for internal testing).
