But you can actually remove that FPS and the other words thingy on the top right corner of the game. Go to Crysis 2 folder. Open the file called "system.cfg". Change r_displayInfo=1 to r_displayInfo=0

Let me know if you can record your Crysis 2 gameplay with Fraps cause mine cannot. Crysis 2 is too laggy on my laptop.
I think you should really try other games beside Street Fighter 4. My old laptop with DDR2 can run it smoothly.

Scare the update mass up the setting in the registries.
Don't know how the CPUID get the reading from.
Now try to check with different software to see the memory info.

Nvidia run this game smoother? you experience the same thing?

anyone playing Street Fighter IV smoothly here? while the setting was Variable and Vsync On let me know. So that i know it wasnt the game problem and it was my laptop problem.  unsure.gif It sounds impossible for a laptop that cost rm3199 cannot play a Street Fighter game. omg.
*
skip optional first..install the important ones first..
but the graphic driver update is in the optional section..better look out for it..

145mb only take like <20mins only for streamyx 1mb..dont complain la laugh.gif

if really in doubt, clean install windows..err but for more xp user la..

using boottimer i can get 25sec of boot time thumbup.gif

whenever i turn on the Vsync then the lag come back and FPS drop.

Btw, how come my friend's 5750g using GT540M have no problem with the Vsync? Thats weird?

Added on May 4, 2011, 5:13 pm1) update 90% of the windows
2) Uninstalled Norton and using AVG free

find it a bit smoother than before but closing windows or minimize still find it spike a bit like old times.

My 5750G with GT540M does not have problems with Vsync. I run a few games with Vsync being turned ON, Call of Duty Black Ops, Assassin's Creed 2, Street Fighter 4, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. They all run very smoothly. The only thing that decrease the games performances are SHADOWS, so I always turn off the shadows for certain games...Vsync doesnt really affect anything for me...

Maybe you should try and update your current driver.

For GT540M and other G series graphic cards for laptop, download the drivers here http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7...hql-driver.html

I download it and it increases the performance in Borderlands game from 30 FPS to a constant 60FPS in the first mission. The most obvious increase in performance by far....cause the previous driver is kinda shitty..

so, update your driver...

Lol. doh.gif But you guys should have your own drivers also. And DV6 graphic card is better than 5750G graphic, cause the Nvidia Optimus has lots of problems...

do u have Black Ops setup files with you now? can install it? i wanna know how's the performance...cause Black Ops lags if any laptop is using a dual core processors...but i think we shud have no problems cause our processors are second generation quad core...

and i support Black Ops original...hehe
