bro i heard you guys keep mentioning AA what is that? Is that the one in graphic properties?

there are 3 there. which 1 to set actually?

1) For Anti-Aliasing i put it in "use application settings"
2) For Anti-Aliasing mode i put it in "Full Performance"
3) For Anisotropic Filtering i put it in "use application settings"

Bro, i think u mean AF not AA coz AA max=8x only and AA is very taxing... will drop your game fps down to single digit if set at max. laugh.gif

so normally how you guys set this 3 setup to prove the DV6 is in high performance?

btw, i tot we set game quality base on the option inside the game? why it is set at graphic properties? Mmmmm.



Joonwei : inside the game option quality, did you try the HIGHEST mode?

Finally I have finished the Crisis 2 mission in 2 days time with Advance Setting and everything turned on. The temperature keep remain in between 70 ~ 80 Celcius.

PS: Never ever feel laggy on every mission, it just run smoothly.

Don't know whether consider an issue or not, it's regarding the HP CoolSense, after I log-on into Windows then I change the default HP CoolSense setting from Optimized Mode to the Coolest Mode, then after I used my laptop and shut down, and the next time I turn on my laptop the HP CoolSense is changed back to Optimized Mode instead of Coolest Mode, do you guys facing this? Anyone know how to make the Coolest as default mode?

No I meant AA as in Anti Aliasing.
I changed it to 16x in the settings at Black Ops.
Outside I'm not sure though.
But for me it was smooth though. blink.gif

But I have run a test in between these two modes, for the coolest mode I can get about 5 Celcius cooler, that's why I really like it and would like to make it as default, so no need to set it everytime I log-on to Windows.

Nvidia run this game smoother? you experience the same thing?

anyone playing Street Fighter IV smoothly here? while the setting was Variable and Vsync On let me know. So that i know it wasnt the game problem and it was my laptop problem.  unsure.gif It sounds impossible for a laptop that cost rm3199 cannot play a Street Fighter game. omg.

hmm...while talking about the coolsense..this sw never runs in background, so how do we know it is working..where actually this sw store the action info?bios?ask windows to do?

I'm not really sure how it works, but after I applied the Coolest Mode, my temperature drops from 50++ to 40++ and around 5- 10 Celsius has been reduced compare to optimized mode.
