But i remember transferring few GBs of video file from my Ext4 partition into my NTFS partition yet still surfing and playing Flac audio as normal without any slowdown. Can't try while playing game because my Linux box doesn't have any game installed. |

Try defragging your hard drive, and if that doesn't help, then try restoring your system to factory settings. It could simply be that something you installed messed up a default program or something. I just restored mine dv6 to default factory setting...but the problem still there. So far Samsung and Toshiba HDD having this problem when copying files from one internal drive to another internal drive, the Windows will slow down dramatically and if I tried loading a game(Warcraft III), it took more than 10s to load!! Can others with Seagate HDD in their dv6 try this? Hope for some feedbacks |
