Fill up the registration form, the most important information that need to be included are the serial number and product number, after filled up those then either email or fax it to HP, for the fax number or HP email you can refer to the first post.

FYI, HP Malaysia didn't bring in DV7 model. Where are u from? hmm.gif

From what i read at Notebookreview forum the differences between DV7 and DV6 is that DV7 have subwoofer, FullHD 17.3" screen and Blu-Ray. Others is pretty much the same.

Added on May 23, 2011, 2:31 pmAnyway.. other than the USB 3.0 support and the Wifi driver.. this lappy is very Linux friendly. I get similar 10w-12w discharge rate in Linux even with performance kernel. thumbup.gif

I wonder what power optimize kernel can do. drool.gif

How do you guys update the driver from HP? Through the software provided by HP or by download directly from their website?

Hi Guys. I've just gotten my 6001tx recently.
The touchpad has a white light glow around it.
But today while playing game, the glowing light around it went of suddenly.
The touchpad is still working. But the glow just isn't there anymore. Is there a setting to turn it on or off?? I tried restarting and the light still doesn't come back. Is it defective??

No use to check over there, it doesn't work, I also don't know why. Even though my care pack is valid and had updated my laptop's warranty but when I check there with my reference number it shows not valid.
