To those people who are having temperature issues and are worried, there is an easy way out without buying an expensive cooling pad.

Just use a program called speedfan, it allows you to manually control the cooling fan of the computer. It even allows you to monitor the temperatures of your whole system.

I use it on my old laptop and temperatures never go above 60C when gaming.

---Just a warning, it might not work on some computers---

i put a cloth over the left palm rest when I'm gaming.
Maybe it gets hot because I set mine to high performance when I'm using it without the battery. wink.gif

as for dv6--> because of the beats by dr dre features..i'm definitely into music and video..

as for macbook pro--> i wanted to change to the os x instead of windows for a new experience...

pros for both--> i'm going to view hd video and editting..but not into gaming that much..
overall for college purposes, emailing, multitasking..

I see, saw your post on the recommendation thread.
well if you have iPod, I guess Mac OS really helps a lot.
Sync and such.
MBP will be lighter as well.
I can't compare MBP's audio with Dv6 but so far Dv6 is good. wink.gif
Up to you really, how much is the price difference ? laugh.gif

there's BIG bucks of difference actually..
that's why i'm confused..
if i buy the dv6, i'm going to ask my friend in us to buy it..as they allow us to customize the laptop..and cheaper than local price..
for the MBP.. i'm thinking of buying it online for education price.. but it'll be 13" only instead of 15.6" dv6...

aghh....it does bother me alot!!

cool didn't know you could customize Dv6 as well biggrin.gif
Well, I never actually own an Apple product. lol.
So don't really fancy Apple stuff. Thing is you'll have to get use to Mac OS which I don't know how long will it take. wink.gif
So yeah, it really depends on you. smile.gif smile.gif

Fill up the registration form, the most important information that need to be included are the serial number and product number, after filled up those then either email or fax it to HP, for the fax number or HP email you can refer to the first post.
