^read the thread bro..alot of proof already given wrt heat issues

ya.. i oso scare about the heat issues... but after reading those reviews from all owners here and other countries one, i have decided to give hp a chance

Thanks for giving HP another chance, same to me, I did gave a chance to HP.

and its the 1st laptop i buy.. my sis using hp compaq b4... its heating up like an oven and its processor burnt because of overheat... lolz

One thing should inform you regarding this laptop, the left palm rest is still warm a bit, but the processor and GPU temperature are run in reasonably temperature, which mean inside cooler, but outside hotter.

warm is still bearable... my sis got another hp compaq CQ4X got warm a bit... i think if its the same i can live with it might get a keyboard for gaming usage and use the laptop keyboard for others

Correct.

Newer laptop will come out on June. I think AMD Llano platform coming out on June too, watch out for that.

reevephon, how long did u charge ur battery on 1st time?

I also use a ext keyboard during gaming. so the left palm is not an issue. Switch back to intel graphic when not gaming and temp is much lower.

i heard the previous pavillion models from HP is real sucky. especially the DV4. its expensive and totally under performance base on what my cousin said. ( he is using it )

but now the new model i think is cheap and good! =)

how many versions are there actually? previously there was one forummer mentioned that 6001 is out of stock and 6114 will be the new one?

maybe u can refer back to previous post in which he got a reply from HP that they have changed the model to DV6-6114TX....that's why i'm asking if this is true?

its HD only.. for me i think the screen is ok d... its very subjective question lo...

I think there is a number within the HP online store website.
Try called them last time, was give a discount price but due to i prefer to view on the product first before purchase.
So I didnt buy from them .
