Suppose we can check the care pack valid period online. Because after you fax, HP never send you any acknowledgment regarding this care pack.
Better have the verification.

I think u can check your warranty expiry date from HP Support Assistant software.

This care pack hv to submit to HP within 10 days, but the result only can see after 14 days, if unlucky, the HP staff ignore about this care pack, then liao ....

i think u can purchase it from mobility square... since many owner here purchase from this shop, shud be a nice shop not sure about it coz im not from kl

I just checked my old Compaq, which I also bought the care pack for 3 yrs, but I cannot locate the actual status, but asked to confirm with HP directly.
Only the standard warranty (1yr) shown.

i charged mine till its full. used till about 50% then adapter all the way

umm about how many hours?

no problem... im oso waiting my DV6 to come... hope can get it ASAP... cant wait for it check 1st page to c how much they buy it at there.. got many kinds of package

how about other nice new models that may come out later?

Once you have fax your Care Pack to the HP, there is another number can be called by the customer to specially verify your registration. What I did for mine was, as soon as I fax the Care Pack to them, then call the number, then the staff will verify with your Care Pack which you need to provide your Care Pack serial number then they will response back to you with your name that written on the Care Pack, then finally they will inform you on the spot that they have received your Care Pack.

PS: If you're looking for the number to verify the Care Pack, I only can provide to you all on tomorrow afternoon as I left out in my hometown and I'll only go back on tomorrow morning.
