d5100 tear down: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nikon-D5100-Teardown/5271/1

looking at step 8, the rubber part is really attached to the body using double sided tape? so if our rubber peel off, just paste back with double sided tape la? haha very easy ma.. can tahan? or there got special double sided tape that is very powerful, industrial grade?

Me just bought Rapid 7, damn nice to use. Launched it during the recent PC Fair. My only whine is changing lens is a tad harder compared to normal neck strap. smile.gif

let say body+grip + 24-70 attached, with the BR RS7, is it comfortable? just worried my gear hanging on my side upside down..and quite risky i think..is it so?

My setup during PC Fair,
- Canon EOS 5D Mark II + BG-E6 loaded with 2 batts
- Canon EF 24L, 35L, 50L, 15FE, S12-24
- Canon 580exII Speedlite with diffuser
- Kirk 5D2 plate

I screw the RS7 to my Kirk plate and let it move freely during PC Fair and didn't face any issue except changing lens is slightly invonvenient or probably I'm still not used to it. Yes, it's pretty comfy compared to normal neck strap but you have to be careful that your body and lens don't bang here and there when you move around. biggrin.gif

the gear banging stuff makes me to think twice in getting BR strap.. mos reviews only shows when used prime lens, which not a big issue and less risky when the gear start head banging bruce.gif
yet the problems occur when mid range or telephoto lens attached, and when in starts bang bang, your gear have possibilities to bang bang boom too..

option comes to optech and voyager hmm.gif

I'm also looking for a good strap at the moment, love the Singapore Sling but not available in Malaysia.

Just noticed you guys talking about Voyager and went to google up. Seems good! Sold in Msia? What's the price like?
