QUOTE(SSY22 @ Apr 26 2011, 08:27 PM) I got a question , how to use flash in this situation ? bounce wall?Bounce ceiling is too high. Use softbox/built in bounce card/demb diffuser and direct flash to model's face? Added on April 26, 2011, 8:28 pm Alright. one of the best sites to learn about using flash. http://neilvn.com/tangents/flash-photography-techniques/ |

A true masterpiece is more than just aperture/SS/ISO settings info. Can help me ?
What is that light blue dot ? http://dcbbs.zol.com.cn/72/657_713157.html http://dcbbs.zol.com.cn/70/657_694524.html http://photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00T2zn(blue dot problem) Okay the blue dot is normal i guess. Here the answer, can share with 50mm 1.8D owner Is this a 50mm/1.8D lens? If it is, then that bluish circle is normal. The coating on the rear element of that lens is not made for digital photography. In some cases, light will thus be reflected from the sensor to the rear element and back to the sensor. You have shown us photographic proof of this phenomenon. Both the older 50mm F1.8 and f1.4 lens have this blue center spot when shot stopped down. Often worse on a bright but overcast day as this flare can occur regardless of direction of the sun on those days. On sunny days usually requires sun to hit the front of the lens. Only happens stopped down. I see you shot this at f16. Shoot at f8 or wider and you shouldn't see it. The blue circular pattern is reflection from your image sensor. The sensor is like a mirror and when the shutter opens all the light entering the lens is reflected back again. I can see that you have used the 50/1.8 at f/16 which makes the problem worse. The more you stop down the more visible that reflection becomes. This is one reason why some lenses get new nano coatings on the rear element, to avoid that reflection.
