I got a question , how to use flash in this situation ?

Bounce ceiling is too high. Use softbox/built in bounce card/demb diffuser and direct flash to model's face?

Before all these G and N lenses, people still make amazing and great photos. So, don't let the technology hold you back. It was suppose to help and make things easier and better, BUT not holding someone back or... how do I put it... too dependent and not learning... Just like nowadays there're many tools to ease many work, but it's meant to cut down and ease the work and achieve better result, not intended for people to neglect and ignore the skills.

Sincerely speaking, how many people can tell FROM Picture alone, what lens is used, what aperture, etc? If there is a photo taken with 50mm f/1.4G vs 50mm f/1.8D, can anyone actually differentiate and tell by merely looking at the picture alone?

A true masterpiece is more than just aperture/SS/ISO settings info. Factor in other variables like lighting, art direction etc which is usually a master's trade secrets which can only be obtained through years and years of practise.

Can help me ?

What is that light blue dot ?

http://dcbbs.zol.com.cn/70/657_694524.html
http://photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00T2zn(blue dot problem)

Okay the blue dot is normal i guess.

Here the answer, can share with 50mm 1.8D owner
Is this a 50mm/1.8D lens?
If it is, then that bluish circle is normal. The coating on the rear element of that lens is not made for digital photography. In some cases, light will thus be reflected from the sensor to the rear element and back to the sensor.
You have shown us photographic proof of this phenomenon.

Both the older 50mm F1.8 and f1.4 lens have this blue center spot when shot stopped down. Often worse on a bright but overcast day as this flare can occur regardless of direction of the sun on those days. On sunny days usually requires sun to hit the front of the lens. Only happens stopped down. I see you shot this at f16. Shoot at f8 or wider and you shouldn't see it.

The blue circular pattern is reflection from your image sensor. The sensor is like a mirror and when the shutter opens all the light entering the lens is reflected back again. I can see that you have used the 50/1.8 at f/16 which makes the problem worse. The more you stop down the more visible that reflection becomes. This is one reason why some lenses get new nano coatings on the rear element, to avoid that reflection.

Hi everyone, im interested to buy D5100, and found a thread in lyn selling it, cheaper then the rest, they got shop at digital mall and time square.

Is there any problem if the shop not authorized dealer of Nikon malaysia?

http://www.nikon.com.my/dealers.php

As long as Nikon Malaysia warranty then no problem right?
