Hi! I just bought D7000 on last week. I'm new to DSLR. I'm still trying to grab a hold of everything. So confusing.... LOL


I got really excited so I went for a sunrise shooting. Tell me what to improve?

Nice try.. taking landscape photos not necessary to be wide..

Anyway sueannee, you may noticed that your horizontal line is "senget"

Oh I noticed it now. I'm always bad with straight lines.
Will take note of that often. Thanks

You can adjust the horizontal line in the retouch menu of your camera or using Nikon ViewNX.

Nope. TO be honest, I didn't know where to find Grid

aiyah... just preorder it

in menu... try go setting enable the GIRD.. i m not sure... ask other sifu using D7000
i use D70s, kurang OO there

get the grid on it is very helpful for composition.
once my friend bought d7k I directly turn it on. play around in your camera setting

yes, the grid is acutally rule of thirds...anyway it is a guide.

yup.. good for rule of third.
as well as other composition. for me it help me to imagine how the subject should be placed.

but let's see the pricing again. last time went to lowyat they offer me grey set for rm 1950

the grid on d7000 does not follow rule of thirds...its actually divided into 4.
ppl use it more to aid in keeping horizon level etc.

i also starting to turn on the grid d . it help to improve my compo .

you don't have to use 3 column grid to imagine the rule of third placement right?

i think now is Rm1500++...
around Rm1600 if not mistaken...
