Hi! I just bought D7000 on last week. I'm new to DSLR. I'm still trying to grab a hold of everything. So confusing.... LOL

Nice try.. taking landscape photos not necessary to be wide..

You can adjust the horizontal line in the retouch menu of your camera or using Nikon ViewNX.

in menu... try go setting enable the GIRD.. i m not sure... ask other sifu using D7000 sweat.gif

once my friend bought d7k I directly turn it on. play around in your camera setting

as well as other composition. for me it help me to imagine how the subject should be placed.

the grid on d7000 does not follow rule of thirds...its actually divided into 4.
ppl use it more to aid in keeping horizon level etc.
