okay bro.. will do to try out some new lens if I have the budget.

Pixel density plays a part here. 18200 is acceptable on 12MP DX sensor (D90/D300). This is the 12MP FX which is lesser pixel density.

However if you were to use 18200 on a D7000 (16MP DX sensor), the photo looks soft mainly due to the glass not capable of resolving the details.

How much is the D5100 body selling now? Does body only available or required to get with the kit lens? I recalled previously some shop eager to take D3000 or D5000 body only stock due to low profitability.
