QUOTE(doremon @ Jun 29 2011, 06:45 AM) Register your laptop for warranty la You need to do that regardless of which brand you choose. Its easy to find in Dell's website ps: You would want to burn your recovery discs as well.. This post has been edited by [PF] T.J.: Jun 29 2011, 08:04 AM |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jun 29 2011, 08:22 AM) Uninstalled everything as in EVERYTHING? Nah. Took me 2 hours to think. So I decided to uninstall everything. Initially it's nice. But after 15 minutes going to everything, kind of bored. So uninstall everything and put doremon wallpaper (Even nicer You should at least burn your recovery discs 1st.. perhaps you wanna Alienrespawn or something... To me, if I want everything to be back to default, I format everything lor (Default setting) restart and F2 is it? If I don't register online, will it effect anything? By right Dell should have all my details + warranty countdown right? Added on June 29, 2011, 10:26 amAnybody here knows when the turbo kicks in? Is there any indicator? Like mine is 1.5 turbo till 2.6. How to know? This post has been edited by doremon: Jun 29 2011, 10:26 AM |

^ You could just turn off the lights and do all the necessary settings via AlienFX. Its one of the best programs ever to come with a laptop
Well, if you don't register, you're the one taking the risk There's an Intel Turbo Boost program for you to monitor the clock speeds.. but then its just a waste of resources that's why Dell decided to omit them from Alienware units... |
