i am using KIS 2012, and i purchase KIS 2012 3 users lisence. i get the activation key from the seller. and it remaining 32x days.
i forget to deactivate my lisence key before i format my computer. but i remembered i deleted my lisence b4 i format my computer.
after format, i reinstall the KIS 2012, when i enter my activation key. it show number of activations code has been exceeded.
any idea?

I am using KIS 2012. Been using since 2011. Save alot of trouble reformat with virus/malware attack.

I am currently getting databases obsolete even update complete. Kind of puzzle. Any advice appreciated.

have u disable ur windows firewall yet? i install kis 2012 for company 12 laptop so far, when encounter the same issue as u , i usually just try to update 1 or 2 times will just solve the issue.

never mind la have to masuk kilang as cannot boot up liow...just when I was saying no need to reformat... sad.gif

my lappy is i5, 4gb ram n I believe not so wood for normal use.. but my friend said it's not worth to get kaspersky, it consume a lot of memory n cause his comp slow..

how true is it? yea I also experience kaspersky is very heavy, any replacement / gooding anti virus? (sad I paid for premium version of it alrdy..)

not use lots of memory but real time scanning cause your com slow abit. 2012 compare with older version consider good already. if u r still not happy with kaspersky, Try Norton Internet Security ?

It is not about resource hogging.
Kaspersky itself does slow down the system.

Try ESET and you will never look at others.

+1, I never look back on other AV since I use Bitdefender 3 or 4 years ago. The real time scan never slow down your PC. rclxms.gif

nowadays Kaspersky become so much famous until it went bloated with many unnecessary (not really needed) programs. these memory/cpu processing hogging eventually slowing down your system. -- now that's what we call unfair comment tongue.gif

anyway, normally any Anti Virus will use cpu power to scan/real time scanning and depends on what AV as well how much CPU raw power got. even with 8-core also lagging still got.

FYI, Microsoft have this Microsoft Security Essentials, it's free, and it's lightweight, scanning also very fast as well as very good in virus/malware detection. you should try. icon_idea.gif

I personally use ESET NOD32 Antivirus and it is pretty good.
