Just 1 week run 1 time full scan see it's detect any virus or not.

Nowaday kaspersky is no longer good enough to detect latest viruses.

then what av u recommend to us?

I bought KIS 2012 during the last PC Fair 3 license but only free to install it to my computer...but it can't install...it said something like there is some virus in the PC and ask to install other anti virus online and I did it just what they ask, after scanning and delete all the existing virus and malware, I still can't install the KIS 2012 ....after several attempt...I still can't install it....any idea?

Go with Bitdefender...more accurate virus detection - plus, certain features tell you if there are false positives =)


Kaspersky usage is not so much LAG - it is ALSO heavy on system resources! ;(

currently using MSE, but i prefer Norton Internet Security 2012

Yap but they added Safe money function for bank transaction they remove safe run already....
If using Paypal then Safe money will pop up i notice that when start up have to wait sometime for the KIS 2013 to come out..

still prefer KIS2012 .. still going on smooth

ESET, whatever AV/IS is good for u as long as you know how to use it wisely and got enuf juice in ur laptop.

but REALLY i5 with 4GB RAM..are u from the past???

FYI, MAS (Malaysia Airline) using TREND MICRO for thier AV server...guest what? no problem so far because they know how to manage it.

If you compare Kaspersky with ESET, yes, Kaspersky is indeed king of lag.

Kaspersky sucks big time...dumped it years ago...switched to NIS 2009 ...never looked back. Fast and light and quick updates. Unlike Kaspersky....Symantec support also top notch with online chat....not like Kaspersky....last time needs to re-activate...have to send e-mail to show them receipt from C-Zone and all sorts of nonsense.....Symantec, online chat with the support, immediate kaw-tim for me. I format PCs quiet frequently, so will frequently activate the license.

i prefer if they can use back the ver6.0 interface on the 2013, so user can reach all kinds of setting and info with the main interface.
