just bought a silver and black gundam marker

the result doesn't turn out to be what i expected, the ink is so hard to rub off, the more i rub the more darker it get, now become shading pulak doh.gif
*
I'm using Tamiya silver paint marker.. got recommended by the shop staff himself (from GA).. he said that it's better than the Gundam marker..

the silver colour didn't rub off easily, but still your fingers will have some stain.. but it is very hard to get it off (in case of screw ups and need to scrape off everything cry.gif )

while this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/488910# only say use cloth or thumb, i tried wet and dry cloth and tissue also cannot rub off
*

EMS is $$$$... if use EMS then it'll end up more expensive than the shops over here so it defeats the point of buying online.
*
yeap. unless you can find super-cheap ones rolleyes.gif

00 series is relatively new.. for now there's only a handful on MG kits.. if not mistaken only Exia, 00 Qan[T] and GN-X.. coming soon is the 00 Raiser

aiyah.. who knows.. they did mention their business hours on Sundays/Public Holidays.. so when I'm just around the area, thinking of having a look..

also want to get another Gundam marker.. the black one that I have now already messed up the tip due to rough jabbing through air vents and stuff.. when used for panel lining, it became thick ohmy.gif

Hey Not Bad laa.... thumbup.gif at least we're the types who know how to get rid of nub marks properly. I really dont like to do cincai-cincai when cutting parts from the runners.  laugh.gif

Neat and clean.  wink.gif
*
the time when I'm building the Zeta Plus, I didn't have any plastic model side cutter yet.. so I'm just using my trusty ol' nail clipper, plus some trimming with a knife.. I only got to use one once I started my Strike + IWSP.. nod.gif

im using the separate eye anyway... the sticker for main chest and GN Drive is useless if you gonna swap it it with LED
*
the same case with Exia..at first tried to put it on, but ended ruining the sticker due to round surface doh.gif

dont know how to cut nicely from runners, now can see white dots on my kit, tried to use 1200 grit and 620 grit sandpaper and cutter to smooth out the nub mark, but fail, the surface is smooth but the marks still there doh.gif laugh.gif
*
you might need to cut about 1mm away from the part, and then trim it with a knife nod.gif

what to do if there's no specific model's water decal sold?
got universal water decals?
*
I'm not sure about universal water decals.. but I notice mgs2u got some labeled as "mgs2u special" that looks quite different from what Bandai has produced.. maybe it's their own custom made ones? try check it out.. maybe there's some that you're looking for nod.gif
