those cheap hi end speakers selling here are most likely fake, or shud i say 99% fake. as for ur requirement, soft bass and clear midrange for rock and heavymetal, i suggest DLS MS6A or Boston Acoustics SL60. as for subwooferm, i think 10" will do a better job cos u need fast response of the sub. maybe if u can find sub like Peerless is gud but not dat cheap. smile.gif amp depending which speakers/subs u plan to buy. rear speaker leave it empty, u dun wanna hear ur favorite band rocking from front and back at the same time, like this no SQ d and u can add more budget to ur front comp if u dun buy speakers for rear..

Sorry, can't stop laughing when you reply it this way...

Anyway, will running on 0 ohm suitable for SQ? I know the lower the ohm, the faster the response...

0 ohm? 1st time hearing dat, i think it's mathemathical impossible. if u meant lower ohm, for SQ it's not advisable. higher ohm will let the amp have more control over the speakers and lesser distortion, of course lower ohm will give u advantage on power. i'm not so sure abt lower ohm = faster response. as far as i know for SQ application, ppl will opt for higher ohm if the amp can support. for front speakers, ppl seldom go lower than 4 ohm, mostly are 4, 6 or 8ohm. subs maybe ppl will run at 2ohm if the amp is not powerful enuf for high ohm application. in my case, my sub is dual 3ohm, i plan to run it at 6ohm, now looking for amp powerful enuf for it.smile.gif

Btw, 90 dB can push out all range Hz by player?
This is because of experience with no bass after replaced 3 ways 6.5 speaker for my Kelisa.

Hi guys, my first time step on ICE thread.
I need a Radio-CD player for my Wira with very limited budget $1xx~2xx
Bcos the range is really wide *pins, aux, and etc etc
I dont want those from pasar road throw after 5days used biggrin.gif

Where can I get genuine & last long one ? My friend suggests from Brothers; my options
1) Get from my friend's shop and install for me
2) Buy from outside and install by him ( some coffee money for installation )

Don't get from Brothers lah. They are well-known to for lousy installation service but price is ok for Sony & Kenwood (although not the cheapest). As for your budget set-up, you can try Auto Genesis (Seri Kembangan near South City Plaza). Price is very reasonable for Pioneer, Eclipse and Alpine HU.

Sorry, just would like to know. By doing so, what is the objective you are trying to achieve?

What would your "sound good" be? staging/clarity/bassy/details?

Just a open discussion, no harm.
4 speakers surrounding sure no staging effect, but with bassy effect like in clubbing smile.gif

no it wont sound good. use the budget for front and rear to get a better front component speaker. let the music come from in front of you, like when u go see a live concert or performance.

I don't think you really need to go until 4 subwoofers. Just get one 15" subwoofer powered with at least 800w RMS and one pair of component speakers (power by at least 2x400W RMS) for the front. As for the rear, just leave the OEM speakers to be powered by the HU (for the surround sound). Make sure get good quality amplifiers (power is most important here). By the way, don't forget to get a set of comp. speakers with very good mid bass and able to stand the power as you need them to complement your SW.
