My HTC Desire is still on contract until July, I guess I won't be able to get from Maxis until my current contract expires then?

most of the carriers will wave or free upgrade for the users who still have 2 months contract left..not sure maxis let or not

if not mistaken, maxis will ask you to pay the pre agreed penalty.
after that only you can get into contract for another phone.

(they let ifruit user to upgrade to fruit4 by just extending their months on contract )

hmm lets not bring in korean won since those r the price for korean sets, as mah korean friends told me its slightly more expensive there then other parts of the world.

so if we evaluate this 3 sites.

Clove= 440 quids = 2176.65 ringgit

Handtec= 430quids = 2127.00 ringgit.

Expansys = 934.45sgd = 2260 ringgit.

so the expected price range is 2190ringgit.
other words 2.2k is expected larh.

but havent calculate shipping fees. estimated fees from sg is 80-100ringgit. (on high range, else tell them to gtfo and i can get a free ride at 290kph down south to get it personally)

from uk leh, estimated 150-200ringgit with dhl.

in conclusion after being long winded
we pay 2.5k to grey importers, coz im bloody sure its cheaper if they import it by a bunch.

i know everyone needs this phone badly.. but if we can stick together and not to buy from those bloody seller esp for the first 1-2 weeks.. we are actually helping ourselves from these money thirst monster..

we should be more patient and give them a lesson. remember, be a smart consumer / buyer!

finally, someone with me, being a smart consumer.

fat chance, maxis always posts phones they r gonna sell with alerts to their people visiting their website.

they dont believe in the concept of "owh wow new phone, ok i buy now" they always inform so customers can financially plan.

I also doubt maxis will launch early next month.. sgs last time maxis also inform earlier and make some ppl q up to get it too when they start selling..dun think sgs2 will be so quiet.. they sure will create some noise among the customer then attract them to buy it..

For me quite good. I like it So much. Actually i don't want sell it but that buyer came from alor setar to Ipoh, then ok loh .... Plus celcom start selling it with RRP RM1899, so just sell it and go for Arc.
