Thx overcome team for the new update.

Just a few remarks on the rom; i noticed that when u do a factory wipe that u don't have to configure the settings again, i mean after installing the rom and starting off the system the settings wizard will only show then, afterwards it doesn't matter how many times you do the factory wipe, the wizard never shows up. i noticed that if you were using another keyboard beside the Samsung keypad and u then do a factory wipe. the Samsung keypad simply doesn't pop up as if it disappeared if u wanted to enter any text it wont be possible the keypad wont show up. To solve this u just need to click in the input method the Samsung keypad again or choose swipe and it will show up again. its a minor glitch but just wanted to note.

so my question is forcing the settings wizard not to show up again after factory wipe out in purpose?

i think i can confirm that the factory wipeout isn't working it only removes applications icons from application menu but u can still see them in titanium backup. when u install the same program i get the notice that " the application will replace another application all previous user data will be saved". this explains the bug mentioned earlier in my post.

Any one can confirm this (especially those who used the hermez wipe)?

My Bad.it seems i didn't read what Thepittbull wrote in the OC homepage about this. any way i still prefer it if the factory wipe has the ability to wipe everything. because now once u install a program u can never remove its traces shocking.gif .

Guys if anyone interested in changing the battery to percentage circle like in OC froyo. i have uploaded the framework and necessary files for "hermez wipe version" to UOT kitchen to create the cwm flashable file.

just download file from the pickup files

http://uot.dakra.lt/pickup/

*the file name is "UOT-06-15-13-56-1.zip" its available for 12 hours in there site i think.

*just put the file in internal sd -> go to recovery and install from sdcard->reboot.

p.s: create a nandroid backup in case things go wrong

Ty UOT kitchen.

Pittbull 1 inquiry; how can i get the setting wizard to popup again like in the default state, without flashing the the hermez wipe again.

because in my previous post i mentioned that after doing the factory reset or wipe. the setting wizard doesn't pop up again. i am just interested in wiping everything like in default state.

thx again for the hard work.

It's a context triggered event. However, none of the devs that I'm talking to here, know which particular "events" trigger it. All they know it only appears on first boot event.

If the setup wizard is really what you're after, may I ask what's the point? Everything's configurable in settings anyway. It basically asks Default Locale (language) Wifi settings, Gmail if you have one (Hint for multiple gmail account holders: the first gmail account you set up is your default gmail account on the tab) and whether you Google allow backup of your data/apps (I usually say no! Perf and data hog!), that's it... so, why the fascination with that?

You're contradicting yourself: ...without flashing the the hermez[I](??) wipe again. then ... i am just interested in wiping everything like in default state.

Seriously, if you want a clean wipe, restock using Stock-safe (that's your choice, Froyo stock safe for OC1.4x/1.6x, GB stock safe V3 for Overcome 2.0 and above, it doesn't matter really to me...) is your best best. I won't recommend any other way (especially if you're going to wipe anyway). Since to be honest, the worst part or time-consuming part about all of this, about this is the back-up of data/restore of it anyway, which you'll do with a wipe anyway.

If you want really, really default, Get the latest stock DX 2.3.3 version from samfirmware, but then I won't follow that last piece myself...

thx for the tips. u see the wizard used to give me the sense that ur in a default state and everything is wiped so i missed that.

thx again
