Just got my tab yesterday. Hope to learn from all the sifu here in order to fully utilize my tab. But one thing happen here is, when i bring tab to office, every saying me sohxi and why dont i buy ipad 2. I told ipad only for game and web browsing only but then. .. Haiz

Why bother what people say...it's not them who is using.
I switch over from iPad 32GB + 3G to this Galaxy Tab.
I would say, I use my SGT more then my iPad due to it's size.

Well, despite internet & gaming experiene, iPad is more superior, I still prefer my SGT, unless iPad comes in 7" screen size....haha...

Sorry guys.. wanna ask sumthing about My GTAB here... it seems my GTAB firmware cant be upgraded.. why? It said at Kies.. this version of the device cannot be updated...

It also said current firmware version: PDA: KM3 / PHONE: KM1 / CSC: KM2 (XME)

ur Tab use which ROM ?

Me using 2.2 ROM.. didnt touch anything yet.. open box.. original ROM

Where did you get your Tab - it has strange firmware codes which I am unable to find even at samfirmware.com ? Anyway this is for your information on KIES - taken from samfirmware.com. Your Tab is definitely not original Msian version

Your best option to update is to flash the rom yourself manually

Q: I flashed my phone and kies works fine only i can't update my phone anymore.
A: This is because you re using a firmware from another other country that you live.
KIES recognize only your own country.


Q: How can i fix this Samsung Kies update problem?
A: Take a firmware from youre region but also the CSC of your region. KIES will see youre phone now.

Added on May 3, 2011, 12:41 pmRandom restart is usually due to apps conflict. You have just got to check which 3rd party apps you have installed recently - one thing I can say apps not from market and from those ahem sources can give a lot of problems

I get my GTab from Seng Heng... so what should i do Dr Benny?? Hehehe pls help me..

If you're desperate to charge your Tab using USB port, turn off the Tab. You'll be able charge it.

It's slow, but it will charge.

You should go back to Seng Heng - ask them about the source of the Tab. If is from another country - you cannot update through KIES
