from which phone are you upgrading to? i think galaxy s2 may be released in May. don't know when it'll reach malaysia though. If got big budget, wait for galaxy s2. I'm sure it'll be future-proof and IMO will surpass iphone5 spec as I am not seeing apple competing with specs. (shown in their latest ipad2 ad)

galaxy s i9000 is only 10 months old. has the fastest cpu&gpu amongst single-core smartphones. Also, it is still holding up well against a plethora of upcoming dual-core phones. Not to mention the most beautiful screen, super amoled

after the galaxy s 2 come out i think there will be less and less custom rom.everyone gonna jump ship to s2. haiz sad.

yo bro, yup still with miui. the gps get lock easily with data on, but no accelerometer for me too. in google maps its just point like that saja, no pointy arrows moving around. btw cant wait for the miui dark theme to release

samsung won't lock up the bootloader unless google asks them to. I read this from supercurio's or kalpik's twitter.

Haha thank you. went to sydney, then along the coast and then canberra. got a lot of photos and videos to show you guys. copying them into the computer, will upload them in a few days. Got holiday this friday so maybe I'll have time to post.

I played with my brother's htc desire. IMO, looks more polished than touchwix 3.0. But launcherpro is more functional than sense or touchwiz

Added on April 21, 2011, 3:21 amif i am not mistaken samsung not produce any more sgs. they just produce SL version cause super amoled is out of stock. all new sgs available in market are the stock left. correct me if i am wrong.

if you want google map and also modded google map in your phone, take the resign and then just install like normal - take note that some app that use google map wont collaborate with the modded one if you use the resign


if you only want the modded map, use the other one.

1st. you must be rooted, have titanium, root explorer, or if you know how to use ADB, you can use ADB
2nd. use titanium uninstall the google map.
3rd. copy the .apk into system/app, reboot
