Well, i've checked with the eBay seller and he has mentioned that the bidding ends in less than 5 days, and if the bidding price rises sky high, that would be a difficult task to win against other bidders and the price for the single title would go up beyond expected level.

Possibly naz can keep searching until opting for the UK release , (worst come to worst scenario). I don't think other studios would release this title again unless demand met by buyers.
*
The big different in UK release is mono track rather than US 7.1, beside this, UK having a different aspect ratio and different color tones. Which is correct? I had no idea as I never seen before this film.

Only Audio differentiates between US & UK release. OAR are similar. The rest of the details available at blu-ray.com.

UK aspect ratio is 2:1 not 2:35, I got nothing to say if this is same for you.

I do checking before I post, please understand this, thanks.

Thank you dear friends.....bro Sky, Andrew & Johnbluray

For discussing this particular disc for me.....

Yes I'll try to seek the Blue Underground OOP release, first.

If this fail only then I'll Opt for the Arrow release, only then maybe I can compare with bro johnbluray BU release

I really don't care about the AQ difference between US & UK release b'coz don't owned HT set

But the aspect ratio is a concern for me event hough I don't really understand them

Does the new aspect ratio for UK release 2:1 means that the picture will be crop or cut on the left & right, please enlightened me

Go get a original BD from Amazon and also get a ah hem from uncle ah hem, compare yourself and you will know exactly the different.

Attached below a pirated BD and original BD surface :

Pirated 25GB edition, I don't have 50GB edition, no idea on it. (Previously it was a burn BD, not sure now already change yet or not)

BIRDS WITH CRYSTAL PLUMAGE is, in my opinion, best DARIO ARGENTO MOVIE. worth collecting, but please don't just blind pay for it, it has been remastered and the original film sorce is in good condition, it is just a matter of time it will be release again.

i just feel that we should not over pay for a same disc because we want it so badly, just wait for a good timing for the good $.

lots of other good choice at a better $, u might want to check out UK ARROW other titles which is currently at sales, i just ordered DARIO's PHENOMENA & LUCIO's THE BEYOND, both at GBP10.50 only, lowest to date. both got ok quality & not being release by BU, so no need to worry for comparison.

for DEEP RED, INFERNO & BIRD WITH CRYSTAL PLUMAGE, BU are better.

2 more DARIO goodmovie - SUSPIRIA & TENEBRE not yet release by BU, hope will be in future.

Yeah! both is Alliance release, both look gorgeous especially the Inglourious Basterds, I can said it is identical with US release even though I don't have US version. The menu is Universal common menu and specification is totally same. Eastern promises still is single layer (25GB) version but the transfer is gorgeous, and a huge improvement over DVD. (The extra DVD copy is kinda bad in transfer). Even it only 25GB, but the transfer is gorgeous as well! 4.5 Star for PQ & AQ.

Inglourious Basterds is dual layer (50GB). The PQ and AQ is stunning! I give 5 Star for both.

This both copy give me hope on Alliance, it was actually not bad, I think it only license for them to release but the actual transfer is still done by the current studio not Alliance. biggrin.gif

welcome another "smart buyer" i really don't like those who just complaining ALLIANCE release without actually own any of it.

go for ALLIANCE STEELBOOK - SHAUN OF THE DEAD, GANG OF NEW YORK 9currently sales at C$13 only!), NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MAN

My I.Basterds is AMZ FRANCE GIFT SET with STEELBOOK, also looks cool, but if just the steelbook itself, yours is nicer.

too bad i already got the standard version of EASTERN PROMISE from US. the Alliance STEELBOOK really looks gorgeous. i will have to buy it during sales & sell my standard copy.

have u got your STANLEY KUBRICK BOX SET?

by the way, u got the TOY STORY TRILOGY GIFT SET right? how is it? worth buying?

ya, QUENTIN just told me the story continue & take place 10 years latter. KILL BILL 3 is about Bill & UMA's daugther (i think her name is baby) has grown up & learn that Uma killed her father, Bill. The Daugther's then got the secret blind teacher, who is DARYL HANNAH. The DAUGTHER got mislead my Daryl into the dark site, became badass & kill UMA & take over Bill's criminal business. She name herself the new BILL. it is the darkess movie in the series. sad.gif

Then KILL BILL 4 is taking place another 10 years. UMA recovered from the death & seeking for revenge to kill the new Bill. Actually she needs to stop her daugther for making more mistake, so the revenge is out of love, not hate. The ending duel is gonna to take place at the same Japanese restaurant in KILL BILL1, only this time UMA buthered the CRAZY 888 (Kill Bill1 is CRAZY 88, now the number expended to 888). and instead of using samurai sword, they are using light saber. rclxub.gif laugh.gif tongue.gif
