Possible! By using VPN my p2p speed will get faster? But i think they stiil thottle my internet speed right? Any good things that i might waste here or never seen/use here? U can teach me  sad.gif  quetly.

yes, VPN does help, but not free sad.gif

if you would like to know how VPN works or willing to try, can try BolehVPN

well there are many other VPN service providers you can look at

Just upgraded to 4mb last week. Anyone facing slow youtube loading ? Sometimes 480 quality also need to wait.
*
i think it is common issue for streamyx users

try switching different quality or press F5 refresh repeatly until u got speed

sometime it loads at full speed sometime it wont

ur attenuation is too high and will not possible have stable line

BUT ur SNR is ridiculous high, too strong and good compare to normal average user's

so ur line is still goooood and stable brows.gif

is it just me or other ppl also same as me?
just notice since few days ago, my 4Mbps once again p2p unthrottled,

download almost everything (those trackers normally slow like 20-50kB/s, when throttled )with utorrent without any vpn always hiiiiit max 475-500kB/s, and it 's leeching at least 10kB/s per peer from more than 10 peers of 63 total connected peers

zoooooom dam fast just like used VPN to p2p download, completely different than the time throttled not even more than 4 peer high speed uploading to u, most connected peers no speed at all

I c, tot tmnet is so generous...
BTW, actually how high can dsl go?
*
ADSL = up to 8Mbps

if ADSL2/2+ can up to 24Mbps

but the speed may greatly reduce if the copper line length longer than 1km
shorter, lesser than 1km, you get 20-24Mbps

I'm not sure which type of DSL TM Streamyx are using, basically almost same tech,

that is why TM recommend the 4M user house to exchange distance at least within 2km

they do not offer higher than 4M on ADSL, because providing fixed package speed for user beyond 4M can be difficult and problematic

if you see ISPs in Australia, is a good example, they usually offer package speed as "Up to 20-24Mbps", price is tag by the amount of quota

they cannot provide user the actual speed, the speed is depend on how far and where they live, at least can guarantee 1.5Mbps for their users.

now malaysia use UniFi instead, which distance is not a problem with fiber optic light speed, can provide fixed ultra high speed, so Streamyx will be discontinued someday and replace by UniFi

i heard someone telling me that unifi wont be rolled out into certain places    shakehead.gif

instead,TM will introduce higher streamyx speed .likes 7/8/9Mbps.that someone is currently doing practical at TM place.mcam  at data exchange/office la.i cant remember.
*
if thats true

I can't apply for that lo, sad.gif

my line SNR and attenuetion barely can handle 4Mbps at stable

Did anyone noticed sometimes the P2P throttling applied by TM is broken  doh.gif  ? After reconnect the P2P throttling came back alive. As a student house, it's essential to have this kind of thing to prevent someone using torrent application.
Depends on your usage.
*
yes

was broken last week because the p2p speed suddenly came back, download whatever always hit maximum speed

until last night finished my last downloaded file thats also completed by max speed, then no downloads until tonight,

the p2p speed once again back to around 25-40kB/s, very hard to get over that speed, just like usual, throttled
