Can ask 4 help with the D-link 2640b modem?
Recently suscribed to tmnet promo and got a d-link modem. The modem has odd behaviour and will sometimes not access websites - it says "site cannot be accessed - check firewall etc etc". This behaviour is at random and not restricted to any 1 website or any web browser. Sometimes pressing the reload button works. Sometimes it doesn't work and I have to wait quite a while before retrying is successful. None of my older aztech modems have this problem.
Anyone with this problem?

Evening.

How's your 4MB Streamyx?

Frequent dc or laggy?

My Unifi VIP5 like #%^@.

Was an old user of Streamyx 4MB.

Thinking of downgrading.

recently upgraded from 1Mbps to 4Mbps, satisfied with the speed. direct download can reach 500kb/s with no problem. my only concern is it's stuck at 1-2kb/s via torrent... tried with my digi broadband and it works fine so it's not seeding problem. can anyone lead me to a solution?

if that speed is the speed that u thought 'upgraded' speed as u in 4Mbps package,u'r wrong.this is might due to SNR margin issue.not supported due to far from cabinet.otherwise,if that's ur speed b4 u upgrade,it's fine.just wait for about a week
