how does this ASX compares to rivals like CX5 and CRV or Tucson?

It is just only cheapest among all?

CRV is HUMONGOUS if compared to any of those

good resale value

and wins in basically all department

except look and price

150k basic one gets u fabric seat and nothing else

the 170k 2.4 CRV is what u want

Honda CRV is basically the best in that price point

5 STAR safety

if u are talking about CBU ASX, yes

but now, CRV is in a diff price point

CX5 & ASX are in the sub 140k price range with FULL OPTION accessories and 4wd

CRV 4wd with full accessory starts at 160k, but u get a 2.4L 170+hp engine

20k is not big range difference

ASX 2WD is pretty weak

Unless its the 4WD model which make the difference and power

I tested both of them just once from 2WD and able to see the difference easily but fuel consumption maybe hungry for the 4WD more

Ur 2wd should be faster right because it's lighter? 4wd gives better handling and grip but doesn't affect power and acceleration right?

Hi anyone know the answer for my questions here:

1) i've connected my iphone on bluetooth and made a call, however i can only hear the voice on car speaker, but the person i call can't hear me, what setting did i miss?

2) if i want to go out from the car without turn off engine and left my key inside with passengers, how to lock all door?

3) how to turn on the security alarm manually?

Sorry i haven't read thru all the manual book, thanx in advance smile.gif

i maintained at about 30 psi

32 / 34 psi the ride tend to be a bit too harsh and noisy

Basically, the answer for the question is pretty much subject to the driving attributes. Whether you believe it or not, ASX engine will operate to suit your regular driving patterns. Meaning ... that driving your own ASX will have a different driving feel when you drive others. 4WD will definetely consume more fuel but that is simply due to the additional weight of 100kgs (that is like you are putting two chicks at the back of the car).

I put 230KPA in it. A friend of mine who is very into ASX recommended it and I agree. Previously I did 210KPA but 230KPA actually create a better wheel alignment to your steering and drive.
Lucifah, you should know the friend I am referring to, he is non other than Goldfish.

Hello to all sifus here. I'm planning to get a ASX 2WD sooner (join the family).
But before that, i need some precious and genuine feedbacks from all the sifus and ASX owner.
-How is the FC in city + weekend long distance? It's a 1.8 tons car, do it feel "dragging" when picking up speed during traffic?
-For 2014, Mitsubishi claims to have reduced NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) levels in the cabin. Is that true?
-Reported to have burning smell inside the cabin??
