U need to use proton's or peugeot renault ones to set the auto lock feature

Mitsu mut3wont allow that since it is a must that all jap cars not to auto lock to prevent being trapped when u got into accident. Which is pretty stupid i think

Proton one cant set also. Basically its a mut3 also..
But i set with mut3

how it is done, mind sharing, sifu?

Common issue with ckd ASX ?

1.Sluggish CVT [from standstill]
2.Noise in cabin [soundproofing not so good?]
3.Front parking sensor not so good [maybe due to height]
4.Engine noise during morning start ?

Its an option within the ETACS

3 settings..
1. Disabled
2. Crash unlock
3. Speed lock (20km/h) + crash unlock.

All car are set to disable.

This is a VARIANT CODING. Which is different from the accessable CUSTOMER OPTION.

Variant coding are meant to be set before the car roll out from the production. The easy way to modify it (risk on ur own) is using lexia tool by PSA (peugeot n citreon).

I use MUT3. The method u need to decode the whole etacs and change the bit that contain this information and load in back to the car. Sc wont know how to decode and load it.

Juz an add-on

Auto unlock .. Upon ignition off / put to P..
Some batch lancer and inspira has the VARIANT CODING. Set to enable.. (default disable)

Once variant coding is enable.. U can choose in CUSTOMER OPTION
1. Disable
2. Unlock when put to "P" (auto cars only)
3. Unlock when ignition off.


** if i am not mistaken asx default in VARIANT CODING is set to enabled. Hence u can proceed to service center to set the customer option to ENABLE the UNLOCK option

oh ya.. before i forget.

There is an option that is change able in the VARIANT CODING by the SC (if they know how) .. its call DOOR UNLOCK CUSTOMIZATION. Once this is enable .. at the CUSTOMER OPTION , you can choose the following ->

1. All Doors Unlock (Default)
2. Driver Door Unlock

Means...
those without KOS .. if you press UNLOCK once.. just the driver door unlock. If you press twice .. all doors unlock ... when u press lock .. all doors lock..

those with KOS.. (The remote works the same) .. at the door switch .. if u press once juz the driver door unlock .. quickily tap twice .. all doors unlock

Is there a rpm lock feature in ASX?

Nope. Speed lock only. 20km/h.
Enable or disable
No alteration on the speed as well

Does the SC know how to set the speed lock?

nope. read my explaination previously.. its a VARIANT CODING which is suppose to be set in factory and SC have no access to VARIANT CODE only CUSTOMER OPTIONS

got my car today..

needed to send it for tinting.. damn hot! only safety film, not heat reducing one.. lol..

Will they need to remove the security film?

My opinions:

1. Agree
2. Quite apparent when throttling hard, otherwise ok at average acceleration. Mine is the first batch ckd so it's almost fully cbu. Might be different for others.
3. So far I think mine is quite sensitive. Keeps going off when people walk pass the car. Maybe cannot detect low bumps etc.
4. Agree, engine noisy during cold start. Which is normal I guess.

So far all the above issues not very critical. I'm enjoying the car alot and the family is happy.

Need no to remove, just add on..
Really need to do tint, especially the moonroof

Honda CRV is basically the best in that price point
