I'm using the ASX now, and I notice that the cabin noise can be quite bothersome depending on the road conditions. Also, when you open the moon roof cover, the noise increases too.
Anyone tried sound proofing before? Is it effective?

I've been driving asx for month now..this is what i've experienced:

1) "tick" "tick" sound coming from the dashboard or meter area, sometimes quite annoying if u dont on the radio
2) sometimes got burning/ smoke smell , maybe from the aircon or engine
3) sometimes when closing the front and tailgate door, feel like closing an old car door
4) put a door visor, and i can hear the wind sound when speeding, and also if i open the sunroof
5) lean towards the car near the front tyre and the pressure dented the body..luckily its temporary..no idea the material was so soft..because of safety?
6) sometime the engine quite noisy especially in the morning
So far, this are my concerns, anyone experienced the same?

6) Yes! This is what I've been asking in my previous post. In the morning, it tends to be noisy, but after that everything is well.

Appreciate it if any of the CKD ASX owner share the types of light bulb used as below:

- headlight low beam
- position light/small light
- no. plate light
- reverse light

Nothing on mine

Nothing on  mine. But I agree that every new car may get that hot metal smell when still new.

I understand that all Mitsu Lancer you have to shut the door hard for it to close properly. I only feel like closing an old door at the boot door.

Yes agreed. Wind noise which is known for the ASX.

As it is stripped version ASX and installed by TCM, better send back to service center to check. They dare to use sub standard wire for the air cond. Happen to our Livina before and almost whole car burnt down because of this

Overall yes, I do hear some noises here and there, especially from the aircon.
But overall I am very happy driver. Agree with that 'special' feeling since there are so few ASX on the road compared to CX-5 and CRV.
But this morning from PJ to KL, I came across 5!    Is the ASX getting more popular now?

any freebie do u all get from the agent or dealer? so far i only get fuel full tank and poly carpet.

full tank fuel, keychains, a black pouch and an extra asx pillow on top of the one that i got when i went for test drive..
