But the 1215B and Asus U41Sv seemed rather different? How to OC if you choose the 1215B?
I have a noob question, Super Hybrid Engine is sort of like Toshiba's Eco Utility for saving battery right? How do you guys OC? OC what?

If 1215B then I just leave it lo. SHE will OC a bit gua.

SHE also has a high performance mode. On it, depending on the model, you can get up to a 15% increase in bus speed.

Low 40s, possible with the i5 SB. But since the i7 has 4 physical cores, more heat is produced.

Its normal, temperature's the same as tthat of the Dell XPS 15

And my reasoning is like this:

If I get 1215B, then I keep the A42JV.

Else, get rid of A42JV and get U41SV only.

I guess its okay, in fact its doing quite well for a 14". But do take note that environmental temperatures and usage of coolers may affect the reliability of the results (http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1769108&view=findpost&p=41573353)

OMG just checked the price list, N43SL is 2599?! I fear if I dont buy something soon I'll never end up buying a laptop haha

not hot either
battery at most 4 hr ithink normal as i7 processor is very intense

Haha really? It's not even i7! I worry about buying HP laptops, I've never had one myself, but I can't remember them every being all that great.

Yeah me too... never really heard anyone brag or boast about their HPs
But now we have the HP Dm1z, Dv6 and this.. lets wait and see where this goes hehe~
Well, the GPU in the Dv4 is on par with the GT550M, so the difference is rather big compared to the GT540m in the 4830Tg, A43Sv etc. Processor has got little or nothing to do with gaming performance

Haha I think i'll have to play with all 3 before I drop some $$$. Really dunno which way, if the HP was i7, I would have bought it immediately.

there is no FULL HD LCD option unlike Dell XPS15... there is no USB 3.0 support..

I will choose better quality, anytime, even if it means sacrificing some performance (which we most probably won't need for this case)...
The SB i7 is overkill for most people, and since it virtually has no effect on gaming performance, why get one? The heat generated will only hurt the laptop
