i had a try on this 2.1.B.0.1 firmware...bb67.. flashed using flashtool..
quite fast for a 2.1... performs more or less like vanilla froyo..
but after a while, my Market doesnt work...it refuse to download...
sync my google contact also shows some issue.. saying that that there's too much item deleted....

then i restore back to my previous rom, evrything went back to normal...

any1 had this problem ?

Nope didn't have this issue hmm? What about flash 2.1.B.0.1 then instead of using it, wipe it and use EW Jet ROM?

yup...thats what i did... had the problem with stock generic rom... then xrec into ewjet...
problem solved... manage to download a few apps from market..
but after 30min or so, same problem occur.....

but when on EWJET, yes.. this firmware is superb (apart from being Eclair)...
which is making me more eager for the official 2.3... SE ...faitit!!!

no issue with market? hav u tried to install a number of new apps and see if u get the same problem?

really looking forward to see what SE gonna give us with 2.3 and then what the DEVs gonna surprise us with that build !! hehehe

i'm hoping the would give is the complete camera function like 2.1...with face recognition as well...
and yes. mediascape... love the integration with Picasa, FB photo albums....
i can live without Timescape...

even Wolfs cannot than the drama in XDA...

It's trip & his fanboys that were causing all the drama, if trip stay calm he might not get perm ban....

Now I'm on rdannar's GB AOSP back2basicD rom (this rom supports BB67) and this rom is blazing fast and has a good battery life too....

Nope. For now custom Gingerbread ROMs has no camera working.

by the time they make it work, SE release their official GB already
a smartphone without a camera is kinda crippled i think... no matter how fast the OS is...
u never know when a camera might be handy....
a froyo is good enough for now... its not like ur going racing with ur phone OS, are you?
