Hehe mrvenkon, no photochop or anything like that. Straight from the phone uploaded to picasa and share from the link it generated. I think paling tinggi pun picasa resize the photos.
Blackthorn, from my end its x10 on miui v104 and vignette auto mode except the orange cloud photo where I set it panorama for extra wide effects. Yes fallen, the view was wonderful!! Most of those pics are taken at mesilau kundasang sabah, near mount kinabalu. The sea shots are at kk town |

QUOTE(piumiu @ Apr 21 2011, 11:02 PM) while i agree that x10 is not that good in low light condition but its still better than many other cam phone in that condition.i didn't do anything special, didn't even change to night mode if i recall, just use vignette auto mode, frame , steady , steady , steady ... snap hahahah seriously the hardest part is to get a steady shot cuz i dont have a steady hand This post has been edited by mikeeeee: Apr 22 2011, 10:16 AM |

since your battery is flat, i hope you are charging using wall charger rather than usb.
if you are using wall charger, just plug it it and come back to it after an hour or so. Sometimes when our batt is really out of juice it MAY behave like that cuz our phone cannot boot without the battery and the battery cannot charge without at least booting up the kernel (ie. when u see the white sony ericsson wordings). if still can't then could be the charger not working properly or the battery kong. Try to find other charger to test |

App2sd and proximity has been working since a few version back for tripnmiui froyo. The one you say not working might be the gingerbread version or if u go use custom kernel.
Have been using it for at least a month I think, so far haven't got any app that give me unknown error -18 (app2sd related error) and haven't accidentally put anyone on hold cause proximity is working as it should. |

abundai,
dah pakai v105 ka ??? buat fresh or restore data from v104 ?? thanks i agree with abundai as i don't really hate iphone also, just doesnt like the fact its overpriced for whats its offering. However, it does have some pluses if not where can sell so much. as for miui iphoneish look, how to say this .. its really up to u, for eg, u can put launcher pro, adw or spb as the launcher and it will just look like any other rom haha. What i really like about the miui rom is some of the default apps and their integration into the fw - dialer, 100x better than stock dialer (lol i exaggerated, maybe 10x better - sms , fast and light .. no need other sms app - file manager .. category view and built in ftp server - build in 3g and wifi data usage monitor with alert - superb toggles with shortcuts on notification page (fully replaces power strip widgets of any kind) - theme is easy - adding widgets to multiple screen is easy - the iphoneish settings menu's , yes this is the part i like it more than android version ... it feels cleaner with bigger buttons and more categorized lots more .. but those are what making me hesitate to go back to aosp hehe |

QUOTE(nothing_nth @ Apr 27 2011, 05:27 PM) hahaha... ya i knw... so which you prefer ...with ur most non bias opinion...haha... caz tweak there and there kinda tiring... tweak for once and for all I might ok with it... if i'm going for a non hassle pick up n use, point n shoot android phone ... hmmm i gotta give it to the ARC. Cuz if you are not tweaking, i think u care more on the look n feel of the phone and also the camera capabilities, just like any previous gen smartphones. Don't get me wrong though, i'm not saying ARC can't be tweaked haha ... just that off the shelves, it seems kinda like a very good package already QUOTE(vaizard @ Apr 27 2011, 05:56 PM) 1) gallery, normally i just use the built in gallery and for video player, I agree with tot31's recommendation 100% !!! moboplayer IS the best !2) radio - ya u can listen to radio via online streaming |

thanks abondai !!
oh nothing_nth , sorry for recommending ARC .. didnt notice u want to compare sgs with x10 if you play a lot of highend games, then go sgs don't look back as it have better gpu if you prefer better camera, then go x10 i think x10 have better camera (trying not to sound bias apart from that 2 major points, the rest are just pretty much the same i guess |

iinm, non of the ROM support native hotspot as of now. All will need to use 3rd party software such as barnacle and similar app to achieve hotspot.

tot,
he is referring to making x10 the wifi hotspot (froyo feature) sharing the phone's data connection with other devices thru wifi, not connecting to a hotspot. |

yeah ... workaround works but with a limitation, the connecting device must support adhoc wifi mode to be able to connect to x10.
if native hotspot, any wifi device can connect to x10. |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ May 1 2011, 06:46 PM) I tried using Barnacle. Started the hotspot, tried using another Android to connect to it, but it could never detect the hotspot. Did I miss something? The problem u facing with barnacle is exactly the limitation I explained earlier. Most android doesn't do ad hoc wifi connection by default. It will need some hack to be able to do ad hoc. Ahh thanks. How about speed dialing? Also not possible? U try connecting the hotspots with a laptop and see, sure successful. |

Never tried that b4 but I don't think it will work simply because the file "BCMXXXXX" seems not meant for x10. Bcm most likely means broadcom which desire/nexus one use for their wifi chipset whereas x10 wifi chipset is by atheros.
Try search Google using these keywords," adhoc android wpa_supplicant " . Pls bear in mind this is just a dirty hack to enable adhoc on the target android phone not the host with the hotspot. |
