can ts double check the specification?
i see this..

FEATURES
OS Android OS, v1.6 (Donut), upgradable to v2.1

Most of the X10 in the market comes with 1.6 so I won't bother changing that. Maybe until 2.3 update comes out next month.

Ok, it's like this, let say you're on bb54/58 and you want use roms that are being utilized on these basebands. There will be no problem if you restore them.

Now let say you want to use a rom that is being utilized for bbb49/52 but you still want to use your existing baseband54/58, you can use a baseband patch to patch the rom and backup then restore them. For example, WB's CM6 is using bb54 and above and you want to use cobrato's or rdannar rom that is using the bb52, you install the rom and install the baseband patch and you backup them and you can restore either WB's or cobrato's or rdannar's.

Now if you want to use Jerpelea's CM7.0.3 J20c rom with his custom kernel K010, you can't use the baseband patch as his rom and kernel must use bb52.
So you have to change the baseband to 52. So what will happen to your WB, cobrato or rdannar's roms that you have backup ?
Well after you have install J's rom and kernel when you restore the other rom, you'll end up with unkown signal. This is because you have change the baseband. So in order to use back those roms, you have to change back to bb54/58.

So to make things easy, just change the baseband to 52 (because most of the custom roms are built base on bb49/52) then use bb patch to patch the roms that is using bb54. So that when ever you backup and restore you don't need to change baseband.

Now back to my findings on Jerpelea's CM7.0.3 J20c K010 rom, this rom is fast and smooth but a bit of battery drainer, the colors are vivid and crisp. So far I got no problems with wifi, 3G, call, sms, (have not try gps yet). Only got one problem when I tried to run flash led application, it will reboot continously. Seems that this app also has the same problem with rdannar's SuperAOSP Stable 2.3.3 GB rom.....will continue to use this rom for a few days,,,

Use the latest GO Launcher EX 2.27, it has a built in task killer in it's app drawer as well as widget. Using the widget is very simple just press the x all the running apps will be killed...One more thing if you want to have a deep sleep, you must reboot your phone after you have fully charged the battery...I'm using Doomlord's Xrecovery reboot widget to do this...quite fast...search this app at xda X10 App & Theme section..

Ok here you go...

First of all I'm assuming that you have a fresh install SE stock rom and having a default baseband of 2.1.54. and you already have root and installed xrecovery.

What do you need :-

1. Download rdannar's SuperAOSPStable 2.3.3 GB rom from here - http://hotfile.com/dl/117504451/5be7fe1/Su...stable.zip.html

2. Download cobrato's Baseband patch for GB roms from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053221 (choose the file cm7bb54.zip).

3. Copy those 2 files into your sdcard.

4. Reboot in xrecovery and wipe everything (data, cache, dalvik cache & battery status twice).

5. Install rdannar's SuperAosp-ST@X10project2.3.3stable.zip.

6. Install cobrato's cm7bb54.zip patch file.

7. Reboot your phone and wait for your operator's signal. Once you get the signal do another reboot.

8. Enjoy GB rom.....remember all custom GB roms for x10i at the moment don't have camera feature.
